I think postpartum is harder than pregnancy somehow
That’s all.
That’s all.
I had a baby 13 months ago and it was the most metal thing ever. I’m not an amazing musician but i can play drums, simple guitar/ bass and sing. If there’s any other moms out there that feel like starting a simple garage (. I have a garage) band we can write short songs about how wild and weird having a kid is. Just an idea / no pressure.
Has any mother weaned while by herself? Meaning no one else around to offer bottle to baby? Thanks in advance

I’ve managed to breastfeed for 13 months and I’m proud of that. I’ve gained so much weight post partum and really want to get into some kind of self care routine. The nightly feeds combined with early morning or whenever is draining although I love it. My body aches from the relaxin hormone and I’m ready to move on. Besides being overwhelmed with how to handle baby, I’ve read about how rough it can be after you stop breastfeeding to get your hormones in order. I am afraid of this. I’ve managed to get through a year without loosing my shit and with a history of depression I’m just afraid. If anyone has experience with this or advice, please share. Thank you in advance.
I’m trying to be kind to myself. Our bodies are amazing. I’m post partum one year and gave myself some grace to not “bounce back” bc low key i don’t even think it’s possible. But i need to start exercising to keep up with this growing baby. Anyway, do I need to wear multiple sports bras and special shoes to absorb joint pain. I’ve gained a lot and need to start somewhere.
A friend recommended their housekeeper who happens to be a woman in her 70s. She’s wonderful. I like to think I’m pretty low maintenance but want to make sure I make it as easy as possible for her to do the work since I realize it’s hard work not to mention she’s in her 70s. I always tip and offer food / water. There is a bit of a language barrier but with Google Translate, we get on. What are some things i can do to make her job easier. I’m post partum right now and looking for that extra help. The house isn’t a disaster by any means and it’s a small 2 bedroom one bath. Anyway, i let her know to the best of my ability that she didn’t have to do any laundry , dishes or clean the fridge. Any other tips to make it easier for her please let me know. I plan to hand her cash when she arrives and leave so she has space. Of course I’m providing her with supplies. Thanks in advance for info!
Hello, I’ve been breastfeeding my baby for a year now and through out the experience I’ve had joint and body aches daily. I assumed it was related to something post partum. Now that I’m a year away from the birth and still walk around the house like I’m limping or 80yrs old. Just wondering if it could be related to breastfeeding? I am 40, which is not young but it’s also not old. Idk! Thanks in advance for any info.
I haven’t introduced peanut butter to my 10 almost 11 month old baby. I’m afraid. I know it’s not rational. But someone told me that some parents do it in the parking lot of an emergency room? Is that true? Just in case of an extreme reaction? I think that just perpetuated the delay. Anyway, i feel silly but im trying to give myself some grace. If anyone has any thoughts on the matter im all ears. Thanks in advance.
