Loved and play Ln 1 2 and 3. Lover REANIMAL. Are these two similar, as I got xbox essential gamepass and they seem somewhat similar. Are they worth it?

So when I came on the game I emptied my loot into a chest in breezehome. Struggling for weight, I put some keys in too. Then I go do quests and come back 2 hours later. Breezehome required a key I have left inside breezehome. I can't load an old save and I am on Xbox. Have I just locked myself out my home? And can I get back in?
