Hi everyone,

I’m filling my WBCAP preferences and need genuine guidance from seniors/students.

My long-term goal is Biotechnology (MSc + research/PhD), but many colleges don’t offer BSc Biotechnology directly. I scored 88% in PCB (no Maths) and my main preference is Kolkata colleges.

Can you all help me prepare a proper 25-preference list with:

College + course combination

What should be top priority, mid priority, and safe choices

Which subjects I should prefer if Biotechnology isn’t available directly (Microbiology / Biochemistry / Zoology / Botany etc.)

Please suggest according to future scope for MSc Biotechnology and research.

Kolkata is my first preference, but you can also mention exceptional colleges outside Kolkata if they’re really worth considering.
