how to romanticize life when moving

romanticizing life here could be anything from having a routine or getting yourself some little treats or something like that, just wondering when you are moving/changing works, how do you keep…romanticizing the uncertain life?

Talked to a private trainer about owner training - what can I expect/prepare for training?

hi all, I am interested in training my pet dog into a service animal for myself. my specific needs are for my OCD. I have recently talked to a private trainer and did a dog aptitude assessment with them, and they agreed that my dog‘s temperament would be suitable to begin training (i understand that this does not mean she will be able to perform the job/can finish training).

as I am very new to the service animals, I just find myself unsure what to expect? the trainer I talked to would provide monthly private and group classes, where we would be working on public access during group classes and task-specific training during private lessons. is this too loose of a structure? what kind of structure would be helpful to both me and my dog?

as for my disability, do I discuss with the trainer for specific tasks? or with therapist/psychiatrist? honestly I am just so lost here.

things to be aware of when fostering

hi all, I'm interested in fostering dogs just to help the local shelters out, but unsure if it's a good idea for me and my dog, so wanted to get some opinions/advices on how to start fostering given my circumstances.

I live alone in an apartment with my dog. my place is reasonably large and has a balcony. I have talked to my landlord about fostering and have those paperworks sorted, more or less, so that wouldn't be an issue. there are a very large fenced-in area in my apartment complex that I can take my dog to as well, so a lot of space for dogs except for a free to access fenced in yard.

I'm worried about the effect of fostering would have on my dog. she LOVES other dogs, but we recently moved across the country and we are now having quite a different schedule like we used to have. I just don't want her to experience another big change (living with a foster dog) on top of the changes we already have. she does look like she's doing pretty good, though, so I'm not sure how to gauge when she is ready for some more changes.

now onto the fostering part: I do need to leave my home for periods of time during workdays, so I'm wondering if crating is generally acceptable (expected?) when it comes to fostering a dog. I suppose this depends on whether the dog is crate-trained, but is this something I could ask the shelter about? I don't crate my own dog (she's crated as a puppy/fully crate-trained). would letting my dog roam free while crating the foster dog be an issue?

and just generally speaking, what should one look out for when considering fostering a dog? how to best prepare yourself and your dog to help a foster animal?

sontag pants and nocturnal blue top

i really like the way the Sontag pants fits! it’s loose enough but I’m not drowning in it (slimmer than lodge, which I think fits me better), and the nocturnal blue color is so pretty

Question about archive restocking

I see some items on the archive page that show “sold out”, but also I’ve seen people mentioning items in the archive that I don’t see at all. is there a chance that some items would just disappear from the archive page once it’s sold out? and if this is the case, if they happen to be restocked, they should be re-added to the page, right?

clientele strategy (?)

I have a bunch of stuff I want to try on/get, and mostly need a reality check. I want to order all the stuff that I want to try and they should arrive before clientele so that I could try on. I should still be able to return them for a full refund even during clientele, right? and I vaguely remember someone saying that aritzia would match prices if ordered within 2 weeks of clientele or something? (if they won’t, I guess i could return and reorder them during clientele anyways?)

for those of you who have multiple sweatsets, what colors do you have, how do you style and wear them?

I'm very curious to see the colors you guys have, and if you have multiple colors/sets, how do you usually wear them? monochromic, or pair them with neutral color top/bottom? which piece is your favorite and what color?
