Taurus and Gemini

Hi! I’m a female Taurus Sun, Sag Moon, Virgo Rising.

I’m crushing on another female who is Gemini but idk the rest of her chart. Any Taurus (F) and Gemini (F) here? What’s the dynamic like?

Side note: My biggest Taurus qualities are stability, grounded, loyal. I love my routine but I’m equally as spontaneous.

I keep finding myself attracted to air signs!

🌞 Taurus, 🌙 Sagittarius, ⬆️ Virgo

Learning astrology! Anyone have this combo? What are you like??

I’m definitely a Taurus as in grounded, calm, stubborn, stable, earthy. I like to be cozy at home but I’m also obsessed with adventure. I love a routine but I’m not stuck in my ways or anything. I also find myself attracted to more of the ‘spontaneous’ astrological signs. Let me know your thoughts!

Privacy Question

Okay, so I’ve been secretly looking at someone’s Spotify playlist for a while now because I like their music taste. Since Spotify isn’t my primary music platform, I apologize if this question has already been asked (I couldn’t find a direct answer on the forum). However, I’m curious to know if they can see that I’m viewing their profile and playlist?

Training Readiness help

I get pretty decent sleep, and I train hard—probably around five vigorous workouts per week. My body feels like it can handle it, but my watch seems to say otherwise. My h r v has also been showing as unbalanced, so I’m guessing that’s contributing to it. What are the best ways to improve readiness and get it back into balance?

Mirrors

My studio only has a mirror at the front of the room (standard probably) but I’m realizing I honestly have no idea what a lot of my poses actually look like.

For poses like Half Moon, Extended Side Angle, Reverse Warrior, Dancing Shiva, etc., I can follow the cues and do what feels right, but I have no way of knowing how my form looks.

The only feedback I really get is when my instructor says things like “nice job,” which is reassuring, but it doesn’t necessarily tell me whether my alignment is correct.

How do you all navigate this? Do you practice in front of a mirror at home, record yourself, ask for adjustments from instructors, or just trust that your form improves over time? I’d love to deepen my practice, just wish I knew how my poses looked.

Summer and Removal

It’s been 7 days since my first session ever! I’m getting a large tattoo removed on my calf/shin. It’s gonna be so hot tomorrow and I’d love to go to the beach. If I put SPF 100, can I go? 😬

Teacher - Student Dynamic

Do you look forward to certain classes with favorite students or is it just me? I enjoy practicing together with some of my favs (my regulars) and truly look forward to those classes.

Tattoo Removal and Hot Yoga

Has anyone gone through tattoo removal while doing hot yoga regularly?

I’m considering starting laser tattoo removal, but I practice 5x a week and it’s a pretty big part of my routine. I’ve read that you’re supposed to avoid excessive heat, sweating, and certain activities after treatments, but I’m curious what that actually looked like for people in real life.

How long did you have to stay out of hot yoga after each session? Did sweating affect your healing or results? Were you able to return sooner if the tattoo was healing well?

For context, the tattoos are on my legs (2 small, 1 large). I’d love to hear from anyone who’s gone through laser removal and stayed active with hot yoga, running, or other sweaty workouts.

Thanks!

Saying Hi & Thank You

I’m a student and attend one instructor’s class pretty consistently (3–4 times a week), so while we don’t talk much, I’m definitely one of his regulars.

The class is pretty popular, and before and after class there are often students chatting with him in the lobby. If he’s already engaged in conversation, I’ll usually just head into the studio or quietly make my way out when class is over. I know he sees me, but I sometimes wonder if I’m being unintentionally rude.

For any instructors out there: is it a big deal if a regular student doesn’t always get a chance to say hello before class or thank you afterward? Do instructors generally notice or take offense to that, or is it pretty normal?

For what it’s worth, whenever there’s a natural opportunity to say hi or thank him, I always do.
