Budget Friendly Multi City Trip for Carribean Islands

Hi everyone,

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to the Carribean Islands, flying from Canada. We are planning to do a 8-10 night trip to at least 2 countries or trip to multiple small islands. We are confused which countries to choose maybe Bahamas + Haiti, Bahamas + Cuba, Jamaica +Haiti, Jamaica + Puerto Rico, or anything else, we are open to any recommendations. Which will be the cheapest combination for multicity flights and hotels? We don't plan to book all inclusive since we want to go out and explore places.

Anywhere in Carribean Islands would work except for Dominican Republic since we've already been there. Planning to go during last week of Nov to 1st week of Dec.

We want to see many places not just chilling on the islands and resort.

So anything with islands, mountains, waterfalls, historical sites, the city sightseeing, nightlife, local food, fun adventure parks or any other excursions or activities.

We are open taking ferries, bus or drive if possible, open to hear to any suggestions. Thank you so much!

Reserve Force - Infanteer

Hi all,

It's been a year since I submitted my application and I have no luck yet so far. I've tried emailing the recruiting centre for any status updates but have received no response and when I call them they are always on voicemail.

My timeline:

  • Application Submitted: August 2025
  • FORCE Test Passed: December 2, 2025
  • GAMBIT PHQ Completed: March 12, 2026
  • Interview & Medical Completed: March 31, 2026

Any advice on what I can do? I'm looking to start asap. How can I find out which trades are still available for hiring this year if Infanteer is not available any more. I would prefer a combat arms trade. Anyone else applied on 32CBG Toronto?

I remember when doing my force test they mentioned Infanteer will be open for 2026.

Thank you for all insights!

My Finalists Prediction for KKK S15

  1. Avinash for sure

  2. Vishal (if he learned swimming) I remember back in S10 he did all stunts really well and only lost/aborted the water stunts.

  3. Orry

  4. If someone is missing from these 3, then I would think either Rhitvik or Rubina might be able to make it.

What do guys think?

Watching from Canada

Hello guys, I’m a huge KKK Fan, I watch every year from desitellybox now I noticed their stream is 720p not 1080p. I can’t stand to watch the stunts with 720p.

I tried getting subscription from JioHotstar but it asks for Indian phone # to log in which I don’t have.

Can anyone please recommend me where to watch KKK S15 from outside India from free websites 1080p or are there any other paid apps like JioHotstar that streams KKK I don’t mind paying as long it is HD and works. Please let me know! Thank you so much for your help!

I also have VPN.

Spiderman Movie

When I was trying to book for Ultra AVX for the Spiderman movie this week most of them were Ultra AVX + 3D. I'm not a big fan of 3D unless it actually fits the movie. Would the spiderman movie be better watching in 2D or 3D? Right now I'm planning to book Ultra AVX + 2D but noticed most of the showing are kinda early.

Badminton Beginner to Intermediate? What it takes

Hi everyone, I've been playing badminton for a month and a half now. I play once a week around 2 hour sessions and we usually play doubles. I really LOVEE playing badminton a lot and I want to improve asap so I watch some videos too. Every week I learn or try something new.

1st week - Used panhandled grip unknowingly and my serves were so bad going out of bounds

2nd week - Serves were better and started using backhand grip only for serves and forehand grip the rest of the match

3rd week - Realized I should stop holding the racket too hard, my grip should be loose the entire time and only squeeze during the moment of impact

4th week - I can now do drop shots (my current favorite) aside from drive, cross courts and clear. Serves are now almost perfect.

5th & 6th week - Improved my footwork moved a lot faster sideways and backwards so I try to attempt to hit every shot on my side

Before I play this weekend. I wanted some advice, Ik even tho I'm proving I'm making some mistakes. Everytime I play my right forearm is slightly sore the next day. Even after letting my grip loose and only gripping hard when the moment of impact. I also can't smash yet. Also, my teammate was telling me constantly I have a lot of power (I have a lean muscular build) that I should hit harder and try to smash. I feel like I wasn't hitting with full power everytime I play I fear that my forearm will get even sore or right shoulder might get injured.

I saw a video about pronation. Do I always have to pronate for every single shot or is that only done for smash? I never really pronate when hitting my shots so I guess all the force is only coming from wrist or forearm. I try to use my body sometimes when I tilt sideways and hit harder.

I saw a video of smashing, where the elbow needs to be high, one leg is forward and hips are used during the movement and use pronation fore maximum power.

Questions:

Is it possible to hit hard most of the shots and not get my right forearm sore?

I understand players change grips depending of type of shots but currently only use backhand for serves only and the rest of the match I use forehand grip, how do one change grip really fast during the match? I see some clips people hit backhand shots at backcourt can't do that yet.

What else do I need to work on to improve more and become an intermediate player? I'm invested in improving since it is so funnn to play!!

Thanks for all insights!

Background Check and NCM/Officer Question

https://preview.redd.it/z6kl0ggov19h1.png?width=1362&format=png&auto=webp&s=cd069d32f1b8df0672010c7e8aca2053c5c30d16

Hi everyone, I completed my medical and inteview on Mar 31st meanwhile I completed the information needed in GAMBIT on Mar 17th.

However, whenever I look at the CAF portal, I only see my application up to No.3 stage. I was wondering should no.4 already appear now since I'm in the middle of background check rn or will it appear no.4 once the BCG is completed?

I thought Infanteer was a high in demand position, I have applied since August 2025 and I feel like my application has been processing slow.

Also, another question, Initially I applied for NCM but I just realized few weeks ago that I can apply for officer since I have a university degree. Aside from better pay for officers, are there any other benefits of becoming an officer rather than NCM?

If I want to remain as a reserve in long term and climb up the ranks, should I rather apply as NCM or Officer? Does officer have way more stressful duties? Also, when taking leaves/vacations, do Officer have lesser chances of getting vacations approved compared to NCM?

Thanks for all insights!!

24M from Sauga looking for long-term friends

Hey everyone,

I’m a 24M, works in accounting/tax from Mississauga looking to meet some genuine people and hopefully build long-term friendships. I drive, so I’m always down to meet up around the GTA.

A bit about me:

🏋️ Fitness freak & loves working out
🎌 Love watching anime and Netflix series
✈️ Love travelling and exploring new places
🖥️ Sports fan — NBA, UFC, Boxing
🏀 Play sports — basketball, badminton, and tennis (but I’m not good in any of the sports lol)
🎳 Enjoy different activities like swimming, bowling, arcades, amusement parks, axe throwing, and escape rooms

I also really want to start billiards and bouldering/rock climbing, so I’m looking for anyone who’d be down to try those with me.

I’m always looking for people who are down to hang out, grab food, watch a game, hit the gym, play sports, or try new activities around the city. I will always be down to hang.

If we have similar interests, feel free to send me a message and introduce yourself!

Looking forward to meeting some new friends.

First Time Playing Badminton

Hi everyone, I played badminton for the first time and we played in doubles for 1.5 hours. The other players knew how to play somehow but wouldn't say they were intermediate level. I have a really bad pain on my right outer forearm (middle area probably called wrist extensors). It hurts even grabbing light things such as a water bottle or laptop. (only the forearm is hurting not the wrist).

I have a muscular physique and I thought my body and arms are strong but I am surprised on how much sore/pain my forearm have right now. Is it because I was gripping the racket hard too much or I was putting too much power every time I strike? or wrist flexion? Idk if my gripping technique was right to begin with.

Anyone ever had this experience before? Any tips how can my outher forearm recover asap? and how long to rest after recovery before playing another badminton session? It was really fun playing though. Thanks for the tips or info!!
