Reminder: Don't blame yourself for anything. if you were born a few decades earlier, you'd be be living a very different and much better life
Even the most incompetent inconsiderate dysgenic boomer has at least a 1mil networth today on top of a massive social circle and endless opportunities. I think for most of us here, we were simply born in the wrong time and place.
And time isn't the only factor. there are thousands of trust fund kids born in the same time as us but under much better circumstances and live incredible lives through no merit of their own.
It's not your fault. even your own decisions in life were shaped by your genes and circumstances. You likely would have made many different better decisions in life if you were born rich or in a better time period.
Shame is an emotion that's simply not worth having. all it does is hurt good people. Bad people have zero shame no matter what while good people are shamed for things they shouldn't be shamed for.
