Barbour season has finally arrived in Paris!

After a very long summer, temperatures are finally starting to drop in Paris… 🥳
Time to get the Barbours out of storage!

Here is my Olive Bedale, bought in London

I’m thinking about giving it a little upgrade with this pins, what do you think? 🦆

Have a great evening!

Added the bb54 to the collection 🎉

37mm, black dial, and that beautiful simple vintage-inspired design.
I already own a datejust 36, so i was looking for something with a different character. This bb54 feels like the perfect complement 🫪

Changement courroie distribution : bruit à chaud & ralenti uniquement 1.4 TSI

Voiture : VW Golf 1.4 TSI CZCA (EA211)

Timing belt change : Whistling noise when warm and idle 1.4 TSI

Hello everyone,

I had my timing belt replaced in April 2026 and have driven about 3,000 km since then.

The engine runs very smoothly, but there is one issue: it makes a strange noise at idle when fully warmed up. The noise can be heard both inside and outside the car, for example when stopped at a red light.

I don’t think this noise was present before the timing belt replacement.

Timing belt kit installed: Dayco High Tenacity
Car: VW Golf 1.4 TSI CZCA (EA211)

I have heard that the coating on a new timing belt may sometimes cause this kind of noise.

Could this be the reason?

Thank you in advance for your answers !
Have a good day.
