Always get ghosted in the end

I have basically given up on making friends at this point. 3 guys I have met through work or school told me I was chill and pleasant to be around, they ask for my number so we could hangout sometime. Then they proceed to ghost and block me a week later, like why even bother telling me that and asking my number if you’re going to block me in the end anyway? I’m not pushy and I don’t spam them with messages so why? People suck and I just gave up on finding platonic relationships.

Anyone else making up entire stories in their head?

I am so lonely that I make stories in my head all the time, stories where I actually have some friends, a girlfriend and a normal not depressed life. I also just talk with myself for hours because I got nothing better to do, almost got caught at work having whole conversations with myself… embarrassing.

It’s sometimes nice to imagine I’m normal with a normal life that most people experience. Can forget for a second that I’m a 24 year old loser who has no one and has nothing better to do.

24 and have no experience in anything remotely romantic

It hurts and it’s so embarrassing to think about how behind I am in life. People get to live and do things while I am rotting away. I don’t leave the house unless I have to for work or the gym. Seeing an attractive woman makes me hate myself too so I’m basically done for.

I have never even hugged or held hands with a woman before, so embarrassing for a grown adult. I can go to an escort if I actually want to lose my virginity but this is not what I want or what I’m after. I want a relationship with a woman that loves me and I love her. It sucks being constantly reminded by society how much of a loser you are when you’re still so inexperienced.

Anyone else really hate themselves whenever you see a pretty woman?

Whenever I see an attractive woman I just immediately start hating myself even more, so much so that I just get angry at myself for being such an undesirable and invisible loser. The self hatred is always there but it’s so much stronger in situations like this. This also counts for the FA women seeing an attractive man. I can’t be the only one having this problem.

I am nobody

Nobody’s "omg he’s texting me". Nobody’s favorite. Nobody’s crush. Nobody’s bf. Nobody’s lover. Nobody’s friend.

I will never be good enough.

Girl blocked me after sending a picture of myself

I met this girl some time ago and she started talking about body hair and how she finds it disgusting. I was already disappointed since I am a hairy person myself, I told her this and she wanted to see. I sent her a picture of my arms and chest and all she wrote was "omg" and then blocked me right after.

I already deal with mental health and self image issues so this was a real blow to my already low self esteem. I am not a fan of it either, I dislike how hairy I am and didn’t choose to be this way. At least be nice about it instead of immediately blocking me, that hurts so much more.

All I want is to find someone who likes me for me

I can’t help but feel anxious when I think about the fact that I’m 24 years old with 0 romantic experience. I haven’t even held hands and I feel so pathetic. I’m so afraid it will never change, that I will never find someone. Because it happens to a lot of people. They end up completely alone.

Got some terrible news about my grandmother and I’m really struggling

I love my grandmother. She is one of the few people I have in my life. 3 days ago I got the news that my grandmother most likely has breast cancer and I feel so awful. I am so heartbroken and sad.

I have been crying and thinking about it and I’m lost. This news made me feel even more lonely. I don’t want her to be in pain and struggle. I can’t really talk about it with anyone either. God I hate this life

I’m so unlovable

I just simply am not good enough. I don’t stand out, I don’t have a specific thing that’s very good about me. Nothing. I’m an awkward, mentally ill loser who doesn’t look like anything special either.

I can’t compete with every other guy out there because they are simply the better choice. I wouldn’t want to be with me either. Too many imperfections, no one is perfect but I’m just too flawed both physically and mentally.

I truly fear I will never experience at least something related to romance.

Knowing you’re not good enough

We all know being lonely sucks. I’m tired of the same thing happening daily, getting up with 0 people in your life. I feel like a monster just because I want someone to love me, but I will never be enough. There are infinite better options compared to me.

I just want to be someone’s favorite

Anyone else have long conversations with themselves?

I am my only friend in life. I have no one else and I tend to talk with myself for hours on end. It can be about anything. I can’t imagine not doing it tbh, I would lose my mind so much faster.

It feels good too like you are genuinely having a deep conversation and it helps. I sometimes do it when I think I’m alone outside at night but then someone randomly pops up and I feel really embarrassed, they probably think I’m insane

Now I understand why the dating apps are so terrible

0 experience with romance here, no hugs, holding hands, kisses etc etc. I know the apps are terrible to actually find someone and I know that there are a lot more men using it compared to women but I didn’t expect it to be this bad. First, I used an auto liker so I liked thousands of profiles (on multiple apps) and never got a single match. I tried making my profile as nice as possible but it didn’t really work.

But randomly yesterday I stumbled upon a YouTube video of a guy pretending to be a very attractive man and it’s depressing how much of a difference it is, it makes it worse because the guy making the video is good looking too but on his actual account I believe he struggled too. The worst part? He purposefully said the most unhinged garbage which would immediately make you a terrible creep (rightfully so) and he got so many replies saying it was "clever and funny" like cmon… no it wasn’t. And he said so much worse and they were down to meet up… imagine if he actually tried to strike up a normal conversation.

Then I saw another video, where he pretended to be an attractive woman and he got like 4000 likes in an hour or something… that’s when I realized there is no point in using these apps because what would make me stand out? Nothing. I’m an introvert dork with introverted hobbies. He then proceeded to also say the most unhinged garbage and so many dudes just pretended to find it funny and cute because they are so desperate. Selling their dignity and everything. This just shows you that both men and women are very superficial and care mostly about looks, everything is "cute" and "attractive" if you look good enough apparently.

My only hope is finding someone irl. I have given up on the idea of meeting someone on those apps, it’s just not possible. I paid for a subscription on these apps once and never again, deleted them all and will never look back. Even though I struggle with social anxiety and all that I’m going to try irl, yes it’s much scarier and if they are mean about it would really suck but at least I’ll have more of a chance that way compared to those terrible apps.

Sorry for the vent, just wanted to share my thoughts.

First time encounter with a salty player

I'm a newer player, this is my 5th day playing the game and today I encountered a not so nice smoke. I normally rematch and do a ft2 but had to ragebait him a lil more at the end. Also my first time hitting a brutality! Cool that it was on a salty gamer lmao

New player question

Hello,

I got the game today and am planning on starting tomorrow but I was wondering if there was a google document of some sort with all the key moves for characters like punishes and combos for example. I’m a Tekken player and I know it’s a thing in that game. If not, what’s the best way to approach a character and learn them? I’m interested in playing peacemaker atm and most YouTube videos are pretty outdated since I know he got nerfed.

Hey everyone,

Been lurking for some time since I was interested in playing Magic for a while. Was pretty busy with work and school for a few months so I promised myself to start learning once I wad done with my studies, I passed my finals a few weeks ago and started watching tutorials, playing Arena and immediately realized I enjoyed it a lot lol.

Bought my first commander precon, went with the Riders of Rohan deck since I love LOTR and saw it’s beginner friendly. Read most of the cards and it’s still a little confusing with some of them but I’ll watch some YouTube videos to learn the deck.

Would love to start playing with others except I’m a little nervous to go a LGS since I’m so new and might make some mistakes. Any advice? I’m from the Netherlands if that’s important.

All that aside, I’m excited to be a part of this community now!
