So I have created a review hub. The basic premise is for people to see actual hidden gems and get construtive feedback from all sorts of readers.

So I was wondering about any rules that I should implement to make a more organised system.

Or like anything I should change?

Would love some help

So..this is going to be a long, long msg.

By now, a few of you might know, I have been doing reviews for Wattpad authors. And I've been thinking something.

Most new authors worry that their books are not getting views, and the prevalence of r4r/v4v is something that is concerning.

For a few of you who don't know, v4v does not result in true views; it's just to increase views for the sole purpose of fake fame.

You don't gain readers. You just gain numbers.

So I've been thinking of how new writers can get views while actually getting real readers to read their work.

And I think I've got a solution.

I am doing a review book with specific rules that would mean views and real feedback for your work.

Now you might be thinking, wait, doesn't that mean you are the only one reading our work? Where are the views?

Well, wait, let me tell you how.

Let's consider that I gave a review of Person A's work in my book. Now, how would he or someone else get views?

Well, let's consider Person B who also wants to have a review from me. Well, how would he get it?

Here's the twist. Trumpets pls!!

Person B has to read and give feedback on Person A's work! And then ask Person A, hey do you mind tagging or messaging ChaoferVita(that's me) for reviewing my work?

And if he does well, then I review your work, and Person C does the same and then so on.

Basically, to get feedback on your work from me, you have to review someone else's work, and if they think your work is good, they can dm me, and your review will be coming.

Of course, you and the author can also give continuous feedback on each other's work without depending on me.

Basically, I serve as a means of communication for creating relationships between writers.

Of course, if you were lets say spam or irritating the author or well irritate me for not reviewing your work, I honestly can't do anything.

If a few authors don't want others to irritate them, then that would be written in my review clearly and fairly. So pls follow that.

So basically what I am saying is that if you want to continue writing, get feedback, views, pls respect others' wishes.

There are other rules that I would write in my review book clearly and fairly. And please please...

Follow them.

Without order, nothing can happen. There would be a lot of rules, both for writers looking for reviews and writers who have already reviewed.

Maybe all of this fails, but I just..you know, want to help.

I have big dreams of writing on RoyalRoad or Webnovel, but I have been writing on Wattpad for 5 years now. It's literally a part of my life now.

I mean, yeah, if you guys can check my story 'Being Ordinary' on my account. I would be grateful, but I really don't care about that.

I want to help the community, and like to say to myself that being on Wattpad is way better than anything.

So yeah..now the fun part, or the main point of writing this whole thing.

I am reviewing their first chapters for free to the first five people who dm me on Reddit.

For now, I would be doing mainly 1-3 chaps review since I am also busy with my studies, but those 5, along with others I review before, would be the first people reviews posted on Wattpad.

Of course, only if they want and another thing.

I am only taking the best work. Sorry, but the review book would be the place where the best works are available to the public.

If I think your work is up to the mark, I will still review it, but I won't be posting on the review book.

And those who have asked for reviews before, there would be a one-month cool-down phase before you can ask for reviews again.

I guess it's a bit too much to tell here. The Review Book will be opened in a day or two on my account, 'ChaoferVita'.

So yeah, the main point is simple. Dm me for review, and you might stand a chance for the first few people whose work would be the first for other people to enjoy.

Reviews will be based on the first three chapters. If your story does get better afterwards, I am sorry, but I can't do anything about that.

Yeah its your average promote post but meh, my book is getting a lot of views from people on reddit checking out, so why not create a promote post?

HMMMM so hear me out. Its not a dark romance or were wolves or idealist love stories. Its what they say kind of realisitic? I mean its a book so it can't be realisitic cause real life is dull(Sorry life!)

Lets see, ahh so our mc is well not unique. He's ordinary.

Wait thats the novel name itself, 'Being Ordinary' and he's ordinary in the sense what he thinks he is ordinary.

Wait that make no sense.Ahh...so basically this Guy is a cynic, flawed guy who hates being unique and wants to do nothing in life.

...I would not read that sort of novel myself..WAIT HOLDUP I AM THE WRITER.

....Sorry for the outburst, the wind is little strong today. Anyways even if our mc does not want to do anything, his teacher won't allow him to. So he slowly changes his beliefs over time.

Or doesn't, I have not written that far.

Its a ya novel and Probably my best work yet!

Everyone knows writing a first chapter is pretty hard. More so if you are first timer writer.

Maybe you are just scared that not everyone will not see the view that you want to showcase or just think you could do better.

Well if its less of a worry, I am open to helping you all!

New writers posting or have not even post, just have drafts left on wattpad and are looking for some criticism.

I am willing to do this without any price!

There are some tiny rules you have to follow tho:-

1. No use of ai.

Please don't send me your fantasies that you forced some ai that does not care what language it is writing for review. If you can ask ai to generate stuff you can also ask it to review it.

2. Don't spam my personal dms.

I am a human. I can't see 20 people work at same time and my reviews tend to be on the longer side and I tend to interact with the writers themselves to have an idea what they want to write. So it takes hours or even days before I response.

It would be on first come first basis so please don't spam.

"Pease check my work" or blame me of not seeing it.

3. I am offering criticism not words of comfort.

Yes this is important. Remember no one starts a pro by day 1. There is high chance I would read with works of zero idea of language, prose and just bad execution.

So I can be a harsh critic but that does not mean I hate you. Seriously no I am really joyed that you seek out for me to review your work.

So yea you might get the words you would be looking for but you would get words from a reader and writer.

4. Sorry no fanfics.

This is rather my personal skill issue but I just can't read stuff I have no idea of. It has to be an original work.

5. Send a description first.

Send me the blurb of your story or whats the story about so I can get a better idea of what I am about to do.

6. My Bias.

So this would come to wierd to some of you but not every reader is same. Some have Higher preference for other genres compared to others.

For me I hate romance novels where out of no way smut and romance comes out like without any plot development or character development.

My preference is on worldbuilding, characters, fantasy, ya, any work thats really not a stupid romance plot that has been repeated 100 times.

I am open to reading books that have romance don't get me wrong. But I ain't reading anything about arranged marriage/smut Which brings to my next point.

7. No books about degradation/ arranged or forced marriage/Ntr/ rape etc.

Just send your descriptions if Its 18+ for any reason explain it why is it with an extra note.

Thats about the rule. I will be keeping this msg open for about a week before I stop taking requests.
