NITC vs. NITJ for northerners
From everything that I've heard, NITC is the obvious superior one but idk man, I don't want to go to South. I like mallus. But I love winters. Is rejecting Jalandhar and sacrificing my beloved winters for 4 years and going for Calicut worth it? I don't like hot climate because I sweat a lot. I like wearing my baggy clothes and jackets. All I'm asking is 'How large is the difference between the both?' Remember I'm gonna do ITEP course so it's not about engg there so I'm not talking about placements. It's a new dept in both the NITs. How large is the difference between both the institutions if we're not considering about placements? Does NITj feel like nit enough? Is the peer group there strong enough? More competitive peers from all over the nation and stronger campus culture is the only thing pulling me towards NITC
Rank all NITs if placements weren't a thing
How would you rank each NIT if placements of all of them were the exact same. I've seen this thing in reddit that every NIT student says their specific NIT is the worst and don't join here and there. and think the grass is greener on the other side. Don't do that. It's all NITs at the end. No student has been to all of the NITs so you don't know if grass is greener there so ranking may just be purely on the basis of word of mouth.
Are there no fee waivers for itep students in NITT?
Total itep cost goes to 9-10 lakhs without waivers 😭😭 why are they doing this
OUTR People please help
Is branch change possible? And if there is then what are the criteria and eligibility for branch change? I'm thinking of joining for metallurgy and then change for in 2nd year. Do they keep seats vacant or create seats for 2nd year change students? Or do i have to rely on the probability of already enrolled first year students to vacant their seat?
URGENT: doubts regarding ITEP students. Is fee waiver available for itep students in nitj?? I mean are the current students studying itep at nitj getting access to fee waiver scheme?? Under 5lakhs income families??

Need affordable pgs or living accomodations
Near ganeshkhind Or localities nearby it. Budget is very low because I plan to study 4 years there. So anything in like ~5k would be plenty. I know I'm expecting too much but if some pune ogs can arrange. I'm willing to share with 3-6 people.
URGENT: What is the safe score for bhu, amu and sppu? Anyone?
