I'm applying to DU this year under the UR category with a CUET score of 724, and I want to pursue Psychology (Hons.).

I also have 4 dance certificates and was thinking about applying through the ECA (Dance) category as a backup. However, I have almost no confidence to perform in the ECA audition. It's not that I dislike dance. I just get extremely nervous about auditions and don't think I'd be able to perform well.

In my dance class i was bullied my confidence shattered for ones i left it but now they want me to have it.

See i love it but i have no confidence is my score strong 😭🙂

Should I still apply under the ECA category, or is there no point if I'm not planning to attend the audition? With a score of 724 (UR), would you recommend focusing only on the general admission process?

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who has gone through the DU admission process or ECA admissions. Thanks!

Please I don't get it everybody is saying UG portal phase 2 has opened but I can't see a single thing on my page I'm just saying you completed your application your phase 1 is completed view your application that's it I am unable to find where I have to fill that upp help me track it out. So was recently watching Maddam Sir, a show centered around a Mahila Police Thana (women's police station) led by an honest officer named Haseena Mallik. I don't watch it regularly, but while scrolling, I stumbled upon a powerful episode.

​In this episode, a girl runs into the station with a gun, questioning a deeply problematic Hindi proverb: 'Saali aadhi gharwali' (A sister-in-law is like a half-wife). She argues that this saying heavily promotes patriarchy. In her case, her brother-in-law used the phrase to justify molesting her. Whenever she tried to object or say 'no,' her family brushed it off, claiming it was just a harmless, traditional saying. She demanded that this phrase be banned.

​This episode made me realize how much real-world meaning the show has and how relatable it is. It highlights a massive societal double standard: a wife is strictly expected to remain faithful to her husband, yet the husband's family treats her sister with a complete lack of boundaries under the guise of tradition. How is that fair? It really makes you question how deeply these toxic standards are embedded in our everyday lives.

i need to fill my preference list.

I'm interested in becoming a counsellor, basically I want to understand myself and then go for people, maybe students (i also did a course for teaching primary kids) , can even opt for child consellor

What should i go with applied psychology hns. or psychology hns.

Cuz genuinely wherever i read it says applied psychology is more practical but to the jobs i want they prefer psychology hns what the big thing for me. And how should i go for it. I did some research ofc with chatgpt well also i read a lot of articles here.but I'm unable to figure out what's the best one if like i have put on preference list which subject should i give more priority too. Can somebody explain it to me.

I'm 19 and I'm certainly not new to this feild but yk i learned a lot of hacks from here only.

My pad kept on falling so like a video popped up on screen suggesting to like remove the layer of the sheet from the wings then stick it to one wing and join both of them under the panty rather than sticking the wings . Yk had this question on my mind whyy do victims always face the gender war thing ???. Can't they just get there karma and why do we just start to hate the whole race or the gender like whyy. Misogynistic posts every where, and in comments saying that's why patriarchy is important like stop and just question the system, accuse the criminal and just serve the justice . I'm kinda frustrated by this hella question who's the real victim? Like i support every victim out there who genuinely is being blamed over anything. No man no women, nobody like how can they not respect eachother. Why everytime something happens it's like that's why girls shouldn't be brought outside and do this and that like whyy?

Yk some people read these stuff and apply in there lives I'm just fed up of all of it. Today too i hear people around me saying esi ladkiya nahi banna like dude the girl just wore her choice of clothes and now we are blaming her.

While in sia and ketan case, girl was the criminal and i fully support the victim family. I do understand the critical thing here but why people have to just blame it on the whole gender. Protect both girls and boys. People there aren't good either. I wish people fought more for justice than debating the gender thing . Not everything has to be gender related atleast give them punishment according to the law.

Whole purpose here is to stop the gender debate and let the justice be served cuz they want just one reason to defame every girls, boys character.

I juat don't know what to say here like seriously i feel bad for every other victim out there regardless of there gender. But why particular hate towads women i saw some post regarding dom violence and all were writing she deserved it. A girl posted her reel on insta her husband spat on her photoframe and did antim sanskaar.

I read the case which is being going on i get it. How sia ruined his life and all sorts. I do understand the critical part of the story here. But rather than questioning justice and double standards we are questioning the whole women race here. I feel like even if we got the freedom it's like taking the steps back. A good quality pad costs a fortune here, i do buy stayfree and other good products . I still get rashes all over the vaginal region and in the thigh area with ofc the cramps aghh i really want to get out of this.
