Wore this for my cousin’s baarat and honestly felt like a proper desi main character moment!!!

Outfit details:

Multicolour printed Dupatta (Kalamkari/Ajrakh-inspired motifs) with an olive-green woven border
Mustard yellow deep-back blouse with dori tie
Matching olive green Lehenga
Statement pearl chandbalis + open hair

Wanted something festive but still elegant and not too heavy, and this combo was PERFECT

It was my mom and dad’s anniversary, so I decided to bake something special for them....Made this eggless chocolate coffee cake with a rich chocolate glaze on top and almond bits for crunch.

Not perfect, but honestly I’m super happy with how moist it turned out 😭✨

Would love tips from bakers here - how do you make chocolate cakes even more soft and fluffy??????

The moment it’s in front of me, I forget:
diet, discipline, dignity, everything and I can easily finish 8-10 pieces like it’s my birthright 💀🍯

Started with paper masala dosa and benne dosa, then had vada sambhar.
After that we went straight into chaat mode pani puri and bhel (absolute chaos but worth it).
Ended everything with ice cream because obviously that’s the real closure to any outing 🍦
Food was amazing, gossip was hotter than the sambhar. Perfect Saturday fr.

After office on Saturday, me and my colleagues decided to go out “just for snacks”… and it turned into a full-on food marathon + gossip session 😭😂

Okay listen… I ate a proper South Indian banana leaf meal today and it genuinely felt like my soul got a software update.

Like why is rice + sambar so comforting??
It’s not even a dish, it’s a warm hug in edible form.

And the lineup on the leaf was CRAZY:

• tiny pickles (small but full villain energy)
• kootu (therapy but cheaper)
• coconut chutney (actual magic, no explanation)
• pappadam (crunch that healed my inner child)
• banana on the side like “yes beta health bhi zaroori hai”

Ate with hands, got messy, but honestly… messy hands, full heart.

If happiness had a taste, it’s definitely a banana leaf meal.
10/10 would eat again and pretend I’m living my best simple village life. 😭💛🌿
