I just tried to order Betterdry through the XP website, because they're my usual vendor, but the page for the product is effectively gone. I just tried calling and got a voicemail that said they apologize for not being able to take any more orders through XP medical or Live A New, and then it directed you purchase other places. It ended thanking you for years of business and "Have a blessed day."

I'm assuming that's the end for them.

I'm trying to connect my phone to my camera using a Nikon app the relies on an ad hoc network created by the camera. I turn on Wi-Fi in the camera menu, and then search for the network on my phone. I can see the Nikon network as expected, and tap to connect. The phone connects, but almost immediately shows No Internet connection, and then switches to a different connection, and drops the Nikon connection. I need the phone to stay connected so I can finish pairing in the app. I think disconnecting and hunting for internet is a functionality of modern Android devices, and I haven't been able to find and solutions with google, but I thought maybe someone here has figured this out in a similar situation.

Anyone know how to get a pixel to manually override the default behavior? I'm stumped.

EDIT: I got it finally. No matter what I did the phone would drop the connection within seconds, unless I switch back to the Nikon control app the moment it gets connected and hit one of the control buttons. It seems if I get the app to start using the connection quickly enough the phone must see the activity and not drop.
