I have several pieces of furniture that need refinishing and or painting. Bookcases, end tables. Maybe even my Klipsch speakers. Foe do you find someone who can do that on TR? Oh and reupholstery of a chair.

I have used the service for years with varying results. Anyway most recent time scheduled two men to help move furniture and lay down a new rug for noon a few days out. The day before the rug was due to be delivered but rescheduled for not sure why, so I had to reschedule the taskers. I rescheduled it like at 12:04 pm the previous day which was 23.9 hours before so I got charged by both full price for an hour. I complained and asked nicely to have the fee waived and also talked to my bank as the service was not delivered. TR said I had to pay but Citibank got my money back. Fast forward two months and I need a gardener and an electrician. I’ve booked both 6 or 7 times EACH with different tasters and they keep not confirming. Just no response at all to task description or chat. The app wont let me reschedule until the time has passed. In the meantime weeks go by and no one RESPONDS. . They MUST have blacklisted me, right? Makes zero sense. Multiple different people.

EDIT: So I got in touch with support and they escalated to the Policy Team. I should hear from them within a week. But I think I have been blacklisted because Citibank won the argument with them on one of the taskers. Now I wonder if I can set up a new account. The workers I've had here over the past 3 years have been great, but tbh I could have also found tons of people on Nextdoor and cut out the middleman (TR) and been better for the people actually doing the work. So I'm okay with that if that is the final word. Reading here I can see IKEA is screwing the taskers anyway.

posted something on FB for sale. First response gave me a number to text. She / he asked questions about item it all sounded real. And about pickup. She decided to buy it and I said I use Venmo. Wasn’t even their suggestion. I get a text saying it was paid on a business account and I need to call Venmo support for additional verification. I check the Venmo app and there is nothing there. No notice nothing. Then I google Venmo scams and this whole business account scam comes up. Seriously I am seeing this happen to me a lot. Constantly checking scams.
