Are there any benefits to not taking aerodynamics as warrior?

Ever since they put a limit to the number of max spells you can cast per second, is charge spamming(without aero) still good to get around since iirc it basically carries over your momentum over the next charge cast so without the spell cap you can accelerate to ridiculous speeds, while with aero it resets your momentum making it good in short bursts.

But after the nerf since you're basically casting charge in short bursts anyway even if you spam is there any benefit to not taking aerodynamics?(other than to save an ability point)

My Comfort Charge Blade build for SAED(Fatalis edition)

Guard 5 and guard up so you can block anything, with evade window 2 as a bonus. If all else fails Divine blessing 5 is there as a safety net in case you miss both your guard points and dodges. Other than that it's a standard set with every damaging skills you would want on a regular CB build, aside from maybe attack boost but with everything active you'll still achieve 100% affinity.

Also ppl asked for fatalis instead of safi so we're using everything fatalis this time. Probably not as good compared to using a mixed set, but good news is you only need to farm one monster to get the full set. Bad news is that monster is the demise of schrade. (Also maybe tempered teo for decos but if you can't reliably farm teo then farming fatalis probably shouldn't be your first rodeo)

For monsters that don't need guard up there's a free lvl 2 slot for you to put anything you want like to make room for handicraft or sumt.

For the mantles it's 100% up to personal preference but I'm aiming for maximum comfort so I use both temporal and rocksteady. If you're not a fan of temporal after the nerf then someone else recommended glider for the two lvl4 slots and short CD, as well as enabling a trick allowing you to spam mount attacks for easier mounts.

Edit : You can also use this build for SavAxe if you find yourself frequently spamming discharge attacks like AEDs or ED2.

My Universal Charge Blade build.

You can play both savage axe and saed comfortably with this. Only downside is this build only has focus 2 but with power prolonger it shouldn't be much of an issue. Guard 5 is probably unnecessary but I just like having it. That said, if you're okay with just 3 then you can replace ironwall jewel 4+ with a charger jewel to get full focus.

My Ultimate SNS build.

You get all of the essential damage skills and 95% affinity as well as qol skills like Divine blessing, speed eating, free meal, wide range, and some bonus stuff like quick sheathe, coal 1, paralysis attack 2.

My Ultimate Comfort build for Power Axe.

It'll probably do less damage than a fatalis one, but in exchange you get a bunch of comfort skills like Divine blessing 5, guts, recovery up 3 and guard 5 while still hitting 100% affinity on tenderized weak spots with agitator active. The only downside is the lack of focus and not having 3 levels in offensive guard. You can use any safi weapons but I personally recommend either the blast one or paralysis. Make sure to augment it with bazelgeuse's essence and a slot upgrade. After that it's up to you but I filled mine with attack increase. Let me know what you guys think!

Question regarding amatsu CB.

Hi. So I wanna make an aerial CB build for fun mainly focusing on axe hopper and air dash but my question is does the 10% boost to silkbind attacks apply to the saed portion of axe hopper or is it only the initial axe slam?

Any mods that allows you to play as the headless horseman? Or maybe a dullahan race?

I've been wanting to do a horseman of death type playthrough and remembered that we actually do have a headless horseman in the game. Any mods that allow you to roleplay as one or at least makes your body or only your head invisible while keeping your armor visible?

Which weapons do you consider to be the most and least humane to use when hunting?

In our world, it is considered humane and a moral obligation to quickly kill prey without pain or with as little pain as possible when hunting game. I used to shoot ducks with my grandpapa and if I ever feel like I couldn't finish it in one shot he would take over and cleanly and quickly shoot it in my stead.

Now due to game mechanics we obviously can't kill the monster we hunt in one hit but I imagine in a realistic scenario a heavy bowgun with piercing armor could potentially pierce through a monster's skull to kill it in one blow.

Either that or bowguns with sleep ammo to quickly tranquilize the monster and capture it without pain is what I consider to be the most humane way to hunt a monster.

As for the least humane it's a toss up between the chainsaw mode for charge blade or the gunlance, as both can potentially cause brutal lacerations without killing the monster in one hit, thus prolonging the pain.

In the gunlance's case in particular it's also coupled with the shrapnels from the shelling attacks and if you had ever seen what a shotgun wound or a grenade wound looks like it would not be pleasant for the monster.

Aerial CB build for fun. Any ideas?

Title. Basically I'm thinking of a build using spinning axe + air dash to apply sleep status, then when the monster is asleep use axe hopper to wake it up. Ik it's not going to be meta by any means but I've grown to like the playstyle since it freshens up the cb a bit instead of doing the usual super spam loop.

If anyone has a similar build can you pls share it with me?

In terms of pure destructive capabilities, which weapon would be the most powerful lore-wise?

I know it's not really well-explained lore-wise,but I like to think that despite what the numbers say a fully charged tcs probably isn't going to outperform say an saed or a wyvern fire(then again our hunter is monstrously strong so I won't be surprised if they can out-punch a cannon or something. That and rocket greatsword go brr).

So with that being said, which weapon is capable of dealing out the highest amount of destruction possible in a single instance or generally speaking have high destructive capabilities and can unleash them in a short amount of time?

Now I've only played worldborne, and a little bit of sunbreak so my ranking would probably be something like this :

General case(aka damage over time) :

  1. CB

  2. GL

  3. SA

  4. GS

  5. Hammer

  6. HH

  7. HBG

  8. LS

  9. LBG

  10. Bow

  11. SNS

  12. IG

  13. DB

  14. Lance

Burst :

  1. CB(Saed)

  2. GL(Wyvern fire & Blast dash) & SA(ZSD)

  3. GS(Tcs and it's equivalents)

  4. LBG(Wyvern blast) & HBG(Wyvern heart)

  5. Bow(Dragon piercer) & LS(Spirit Helmbreaker)

  6. Hammer(Big Bang)

  7. HH(Echo waves)

  8. SNS(Perfect Rush)

  9. IG(The dive attack which I forgot the name of)

  10. DB(The Levi)

  11. Lance(Sorry lance bros, unfortunately lance doesn't have any big flashy damage moves :( )

Again, this is not meant to take gameplay into account, so that's my ranking anyway on which weapon would be the most powerful lore-wise. I'm pretty sure there are other cases where if we look at the specific weapons like the rocket greatsword or some of the fatalis weapons then the ranking could change, or maybe the hunter arts from GU but I haven't played it so I can't give any insight to that. I know CB would probably be up there with the Excaliba-like attack tho.

Lemme know what you guys think, especially for those who have played GU since I know they have some spicy big damage moves. Also sorry lance bros.

So I think I pretty much did all that can be done in world: Leveled up all my guiding lands, made all the builds I want to make, unlock all the layered armors I wanted, put in a decent amount of time in all of the weapons, cleared all of the arena quests, and just the other day I cleared fatalis solo with a lot of difficulty. And with that last thing I pretty much cleared all of my checklist of things I want to do in this game.

I've been playing world everyday for about a month now. Everyday I come back from work and boot up the game and it used to be a lot of fun but after the fatalis solo it got me thinking: Is that it? What do I do now?

Like I came back home yesterday and boot up the game as usual but doing so felt more like an obligation at this point rather than actually wanting to have fun playing the game. Like it felt good helping randoms but after that everything is kinda just on autopilot until I go into my next lobby.

Like I wanna have fun playing the game again but it just felt so stale to me. So I tried not to use the same two weapons but all of them are just not "it". Fyi I main the charge blade and have been playing it from the very beginning right until my fatalis solo. Like I'm bored playing this weapon but at the same time all of the other weapons just doesn't feel the same. Not to say I'm bad(but I'm definitely not great with them)but it just doesn't give the same sense of satisfaction as a perfectly set-up saed. I thought landing a perfectly timed GS tcs on a monster's head into a blast proc and into a KO might make me feel something but it didn't and it's actually driving me nuts. Like I heard a lot of GS mains said that there's no better feeling than landing a perfect tcs but I just don't get that feeling. Even the big damage numbers don't rile up any strong emotions anymore. What am I missing here? Have I been playing this weapon wrong all this time?

Anyways, I wanna hear y'all opinion: Personally, which weapon do you have the most fun playing the game with? How do you have fun with said weapon?
