I got funded after 9 months of fighting myself, not the market

Hello, I am a trader with 1.5 years of experience. I am funded with FundedNext, and I have a 10k account (not big, but I'm happy to have it as it was after I understood my edge). I'm not a mentor nor a guru, but I wanted to share my experience. I spent over 9 months turning around just because of a lack of self-control, FOMO, rule violation, improper risk management and all the other psychology issues we encountered in trading. Throughout this journey, I noted that having a strategy is good, but knowing how to apply it while controlling yourself in the market is better. In order to help other traders like me who can't apply their strategy due to human survival instinct, I am working on a project that helps traders enforce their rules and their brokers' rules. All the problems I discovered and the solution I am implementing are on this page. Feel free to read through it, leave a comment, and get in touch with me. It's completely free to consult the research, I do not sell anything.

What happens when you ignore prop firms rules

This was not because of things like over trading, revenge trading, self sabotage or any psychological failures. It was purely due to the fact that I obey my rules without paying attention to prop firms rules. Be careful traders you should always do both if you use prop firms

My simple summary of the past two months . Good Psychology > all

The month of May wasn't an easy month for me but I managed to stay disipline and follow my strategy exactly as it is. I'm recovering step by step and I wished to get a payout by the end of this month.

The main reason why many traders are still not consistent. (The psychology wall)

Many traders go through the Education -> Backtesting -> Paper trading -> Live trading phases through out their journeys.

Each phase has it own challenges. What determine the success of the **first three phases most of the time** are directly linked to trading (e.g trading resources are available out there even though their aren't organised, over fitting a strategy can be corrected ones the proble is noticed, etc).

But what determine the success of the **fourth phase are external factors not directly linked or indirectly linked to trading**. I think the most common is human nature (e.g fear of missing out, fear of losing, impatient, lack of self control, rule violation, revenge, etc). These factors aren't easy to control and sometimes requires months if not years. I think this factor is what causes people to blow accounts over and over.

**Wait, what if you could close this gap and follow your rules immediately ?**
