Can’t believe how much falkens have gone up in price, yeah they are a good tire but that’s because they were such a good value… at $380 a tire now I’d rather go with Toyo or BFG. But I don’t like overpaying.
What’s the new Falken? I had patagonias and really liked them, very good value. Any other AT suggestions?
I’m going backpacking for a couple days and while in mammoth and was hoping to bring my bike for a day at the bike park. But I need somewhere safe to store it while I’m backpacking. Was thinking maybe the hotel I stay at might do it for me?
Now that we are at the 10 year mark I plan on chopping it up. High clearance rear bumper, front bumper, zr2 swap the front suspension, weld on sliders, and rear locker. Stuff some 35”s.
I’m looking to get rid of my 2016 Colorado that’s been great to me for a mid 2000s f150 for the power to size ratio… (same size as my Colorado but higher tow and payload capacity for camping etc)
Seems like everyone else had the same idea too. My truck is probably worth 12-15k but a 20 year old truck is worth 10k+
I’ve always been told not to leave food in your car, cook where you sleep etc etc so what do you guys do with pop campers in bear country?? Especially with drawer systems that hold your stove, food etc and you’re sleeping in a pop with a mesh/fabric lining up top?
Haven’t used strava in a couple years, went on to check out a potential area and the app is pretty much unusable for discovering places now with a paywall for any decent feature other than to record a ride/run/hike…
Pretty sad to see what once was a great app circa 2016-2023 become what it is now.

This is my third pair and I thought I finally found the right size. In store the right fits perfectly I got home and put the left on and my toe is rubbing so much.
Are these shoes inconsistent to where I should order the same size again and hope for a better fit on my left foot?
Or should I go up another size?
