So i bought vic 2 yesterday and I decided that I would play as the transvaal and Jesus christ im struggling. It's like 1907 in game and all I have been able to do is conquer the zulu people. England has me boxed in and oranja is allied with England so I can't do shit, I cannot get any coal or silk or fabric to build up my industry. My literacy is at 50% despite having researched all research rate techs but anti-rationalism and reforming education to the max.

Im stuck and I can field a max of 7 brigades which is kind of useless because all of my neighbors have 22k army strength.

How on earth do I escape this hell. Specifically how do i build up an army strong enough to challenge the great powers so i can get more resources to supply my industry

Hey all so im trans-femme and I want to move countries. In my home country the laws about transitioning are very reasonable (ie. Informed consent for adults which i am) and thus I want to start hrt this and next year.

I want to move to lithuania and i need to know if I will be allowed to continue my treatment. If so how will I be able to and it would be nice to know how much it would cost over there. I dont want to go the diy route since I would like to have a medical professional assist me.

I had a pet dog pass away a week ago and he was buried the day he was discovered to have died. I would like to have one of his bones with me because I am leaving the country he is buried in and I would like a small part of him to travel the world with me.

The problem is that since he was my pet I dont want to dig him up while his soft tissue is being reclaimed by nature since that would be traumatizing and potentially unsafe. I would like to exhume him after all of his soft tissue is gone but before his bones begin to decompose. Now I know that that is very complicated to determine so I was wondering if there is a way to calculate how long it will take given a set of circumstances so that I dont disturb him too early or too late.

I want to learn lithuanian and im just looking at some videos to see the alphabet before I dive into it more seriously. Everything I hear a person explain that 'ą' is just 'a' but nasalised and then they say a word with 'ą' i literally cannot tell the difference.

So i was accepted to a lithuanian university and now I'm trying to get my Temporary Residence Permit in order to live lithuania while I study, but on the migras website it looks like I need to have a job with a certain income and about €8700 sitting in my account. In my local currency, that amount is ridiculously high. I thought that since im a student and I'll be able to get accommodation, that i won't need that amount in my account but it seems to be that way. My father discovered this first since he is helping me but he called the embassy and they referred him to the migras website, so yeah.

The only problem is that I have no idea what app I should use, since I would prefer to have lessons made by actual experts rather than AI and if it were free that would be a nice bonus but i don't mind paying. So I usually like making prisons that are like norwegan prisons and I feel like im fighting the game mechanics, like my risk of riots is always pretty high despite meeting the needs of my prisoners and more, also I don't know if there is a way to downgrade the security level of my inmates when they dont cause an insadent so that I can have nicer rooms for lower security individuals
