Tomorrow is the day!

So tomorrow I go into being induced. Iam not sure what method I’ll be having as I have to be examined first, I’m being induced 3 days early because of induced hypertension, any tips or advice on methods that either worked for you or what you had and how quickly they worked? And how it felt?

I’ve read up due to the hypertension they would most likely recommend the cannula drip which absolutely terrifies me as I hate drips but apparently the risks go down for me with this method. Any advice welcomed.

Thanks!

So it’s my first time having a baby

Ok I’m due 31/07 looking for some advice about it all really my midwife team isn’t the greatest so I’m looking for some advice I’m having a medicated free birth if all goes to plan hopefully a water birth. Is there any tips/tricks anyone has for birth and also my hospital bag I’ve started to pack I have
1 pack of new born nappies
Wet wipes
Nappy bags
4 long sleeve and short sleeve sleep suits
4 muslin
2 socks
A hat
I have creams packed
My clothes/dads clothes packed
I currently live in wales, I’am choosing to express over breast feeding if anyone has any advice. I choose to go for the momcozy hands free express but I have seen it might not be ideal for the first few months as it can limit my milk but I don’t really have to funds for a hospital grade one so any advice there would be grateful also what to expect the first few weeks and best advice when it comes to SIDS I just feel lost the past few weeks when it comes to information I’ve had things I can read on badger but honestly just feel like some advice from mothers that have been through it would be great. I was doing okay but recently come into some financial difficulty I have loads of clothes, pram, car seat, and next to me cot ready may sound stupid but do I need sheets for thee next to me cot? Yeah just an overwhelmed mum to be looking for any advice they can be given. Thank you.

I’m struggling with debt and currently pregnant. Looking for help or advice

So iam currently 36 weeks pregnant and I feel like I’m drowning. My maternity pay isn’t cutting it and iam just earning too much where iam entitled to any help. My partner works 5 days a week but on the best of wages he’s looking to try and get an extra job with 0 luck at the moment. We were financially crippled last year as he had an accident and needed surgery making it my income was covering everything which wasn’t enough we had help with benefits but that just covered our rent, we are behind on pretty much every bill at the moment and also behind on buying things for the baby. Is there any at home job I can get that isn’t that demanding even the smallest income would help right now. I have looked to no avail and I guess I’m coming here out of desperation iam tired of being stressed and also seeing my partner stressed this should be a time where we enjoy the last weeks of my pregnancy but it’s I’m possible too.
