Is there a ship that you have designed but you wouldn't dare to pilot it, even if the lore treats it well.

You must state what are the flaws of the ship ( in any class, fighters included ) and why it still exists.

For example, this is the Contender Class Corvette. Despite having good shielding, it is extremely lightly armored. There were multiple cases that a single missile managed to destroy this ship.

Even worse, this ship is extremely claustrophobic to live in since it only has 3 main rooms. The cockpit area is literally behind the energy reactor and a single leak could cause radiation poisoning to the pilot.

Despite with all its flaws, the ship is still popular for pirates since it's extremely fast, agile and highly customisable for its pilots liking.

This ship is also popular for rebels since the ship is cheap and easily to maintain.

Now tell me a ship design of yours that you wouldn't pilot!

Her name is "Gentle" Piercer or Piercer for short.

She uses 2 artificial gears, Rail Piercer and "Boom" Jet. Ironically named "Gentle", her gears deals massive damage but has a slow fire rate compared to to other phighters since all of her attacks requires to charge.

She is apart of the Gear Up Society. A criminal and industrial organisation that heavily focused on building artificial gears.

I made this OC back in 2024 but decided to revisit her in 2026 and gave her a new design. The second image is her previous design.

BEGINNING

Dace Redwin was a child soldier on the Planet Zamhareer ( 6th Image ). The Planet was controlled by the ruthless Pandemonium Star Empire, that employed children as soldiers on occupied planets.

The Planet is extremely Cold and rough. He was mistreated by superiors and every day, he had to fight rebelling locals on the planet. He almost died multiple times. In one of his battles, he lost his ears, so he had to wear ear augments just to hear.

Dace hated his life on the planet and wished to escape among the stars.

TRAINING

When he turned 18, he joined the Pandemonium Star Armada Academy to train spaceship flight. Despite being in the academy, he didn't perform well and the academy almost kick him out, but a kind prince of the empire saw him and approached him.( 7th image )

The Prince's name is Andras Pandemonia, son of the Emperor. Unlike his siblings nor the rest of his family, he was a kind prince and heavily focus on its civilians. He was also a skilled pilot and fighter in the battlefield. His also has a fiancee who was also his body guard.

He saw Dace's potential and let him stay in the academy. He also befriended him and listened about his struggles.

Despite this, Dace still hates the Empire and wanted to leave the Empire. So he made a planned for his escape.

ESCAPE

At 19, He sneaked into a hangar bay with an experimental ship ( 7th image ). He disguised himself as a test pilot then went to the ship's controls. Luckily, the ship's AI, AILA ( The Robot on the left of the 1st image ) , was recently installed therefore he has an easy permission to control the ship.

He controlled the ship and hover in the hangar bay. The hangar crew saw this and closed the hangar's door. Dace, being mad, control the ship's turret to blast the door electronics to open.

The ship quickly accelerated to get out of the space station and moved far away as possible. However, he still needed to move the ship to allowed to warp outside the empire.

But as he was controlling the ship, multiple fighters were chasing after him. One of the fighter pilot was the prince himself ( 8th image ). The Prince knew who was piloting it and begged him to return. Dace ignored him and fire all the missiles at the fighters. Multiple fighters were hit and destroyed, including the Prince himself.

As he got into warp range, he then warped to the nearest territory. The Grand Concord.

WAR

When the news of the prince "killing" reached to the Emperor, the Emperor was extremely furious. Not only his Son was "killed", his closest cousin was also killed in the Grand Concord 2 weeks ago. Worse, Dace was suspected as a Grand Concord spy based on the location he warped to. The Emperor began preparing his fleet for an invasion of the Grand Concord.

A month later, the Empire invaded the Grand Concord. Thus, starting The Final Pandemonium War. A 10 Years War That Ended The Empire. ( 11th and 12th image )

PUNISHMENT

After a few months of the Empire started the invasion, the Grand Concord found out who was responsible for starting the War. Dace Redwin.

Dace was arrested and was punished by the Grand Concord. His punishment was that he must participate the war until he is killed or the war is over.

At first, Dace didn't care about the war. He just wanted to escape and live a new life faraway from the Empire. But as he spent time in the war, he started to care about the lives of the Galaxy and felt a heavy burden on his shoulder. He also regrets betraying Andras. Not because that it started a war, but killing his friend.

I'm planning to make a large ship design, almost 5 times the size as the STANDFORD TORUS.

It has thrusters at the top and bottom. 6 colossal size extendable radiators. It has 2 habitat blocks which are connected to the rotational mid section.

The ship has 2 modes, spin mode, creates artificial gravity by rotating the space habitat, and linear acceleration mode, creates artificial gravity by using speed.

The spin mode only use for when it's orbiting planets or moons. For Linear mode, it only used for when the ship needs to move to another location.

But I've been wondering if I should incorporate the linear mode at all. I really don't know if Rotational gravity works normally if the ship is moving so that's why I included the linear mode.
