"The marbled gray vinyl of Michael Jackson's INVINCIBLE album is a Sony release that presents the record in a distinctive and collectible format. As the last studio album released during Michael Jackson's lifetime , INVINCIBLE remains an important chapter in his discography; key tracks such as "You Rock My World," "Butterflies," and "Cry" are part of this collection, which is distinguished by its polished production work and numerous collaborations since its creation."

In this edition, the album's tracklist is combined with a visually stunning marbled pressing , giving the LP format a new emphasis. The album's production took place in the late 1990s and culminated in its release in 2001 , featuring songs ranging from mellow ballads to upbeat tracks.

The marbled gray vinyl edition focuses attention on INVINCIBLE as a cohesive album and offers collectors and listeners the familiar selection of songs in a distinctive pressing format that highlights Michael Jackson's final studio work in physical form.

It was written and composed by Michael Jackson, and produced by Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones. It was influenced by a true story Michael read, about a young man who tried to escape poverty by attending private school but was killed upon returning home. The short film depicts a less violent version of this story.

‘Bad’ reached number one on the BillboardHot 100 and stayed there for two consecutive weeks. It was the album’s second number one single, and Michael’s 8th overall.

It was also number one the Cash Box Top 100 and remained there for two weeks. It also reached number one on the Hot R&B Singles, Hot Dance Club Play and Rhythmic. It reached number one in Ireland, Norway, Spain and the Netherlands, and the top ten in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and several European countries.

‘Bad’ is certified platinum in the US.
