Anyone epileptic on stimulants?

I have TLE and get focal seizures, I’ve had tonic clonics before but usually only after alcohol or drugs and that lifestyle is over now, and hadn’t had one for 8 months now.

I’m on 36mg Concerta and it hasn’t caused any focal seizures either.

Getting some mixed information online about the impact it could have in causing seizures, but anyone else finding it fine?

Docs say Pityriasis Rosea but it’s been 4 months with no changes

25M

Started off small, then rapidly intensified over last 16 weeks.

Docs have said it’s PR but it’s not clearing at all, it comes and goes at random times, although I think I’m noticing some white coming through now instead of fully red.

Absolutely NO symptoms, no itching or discomfort, it just exists.

No herald patch; and it’s going below my knees, basically covering my entire body other than head, buttocks, groin and hands and feet. Also no Christmas tree pattern on my back, but it’s definitely covered.

I smoke medical cannabis and I also vape daily. Other than that I eat pretty well and don’t drink too much alcohol.

Completely flat oval shaped rash, more salmon than red.

Any idea what it could be instead?

Buzzy head feeling?

Ngl I’ve been smoking a while, but I wondered if anyone else experiences a sort of buzziness or tingling in your head once you’re stoned, but more like a pressure. When I try to relax, I get that painless buzzy head feeling. I’m extremely tense daily, so when I smoke everything relaxes immediately, so it could just be my body is responding to the sudden relaxing?

Mine is starting to go after 3 months.

UPDATE: also, I’ve been taking L-lysine and milk and thistle vitamins everyday, so who knows if that’s helping.

Been to docs 3 times about this severe case of PR, and it is currently 3 months.

I was first told to wait and see, then weeks later I went back, they took pics and sent to derm.

Derm said try nizoral/selsun shampoo, which didn’t work.

Third time they sent more pics but it was growing and spreading, derm said they didn’t agree with doc’s diagnosis of PR.

So i started using head and shoulders in the shower, liberally, all over my body and letting it sit for a few mins.

I’ve also been doing 5 minutes twice a week in the tanning bed, it flares up bad for 48 hours after but looks so much better after.

Derm eventually prescribed a steroid cream and at the moment it currently looks much better!

Keep the hope everyone, it definitely goes eventually.

[product request] is this tinea versicolor or not?

So I’ve had this for many weeks now and I have literally just been given Nizoral shampoo. But doctors haven’t given me a concrete diagnosis. All the pics I’ve seen look nothing like this, but they’re saying it’s TV. Anyone else seen anything similar? It comes and goes, usually isn’t there in the morning and suddenly appears. After a warm shower it looks absolutely horrific. It seems to be spreading too across my body and onto my back.

Ironically I just stopped taking oral terbinafine for foot fungus but I hear that doesn’t really help anyway.

Any advice ?!

Is this tinea versicolor? Doctors don’t seem to think it’s from my meds.

Docs thought it was a drug reaction (stopped this drug this week so hoping it might clear)

I have been prescribed a shampoo and first day on it.

I can’t seem to find any similair images of it anywhere so wondering if anyone has had anything similar?

Hi,

Just bought a house and trying to get a wee bit of extra money to pay for a few things so i have switched 3 bank accounts, transferred the money and made the 5 payments etc etc. mortgage is all through and I’ve just moved in, so not worried about any suspicious bank activity.

Do they really take up to a month/45 days to come through? Or could it be quicker? I have switched to Barclays, NatWest and FirstDirect, so it would be a nice £600 to get !!

Thanks.

So I started it about 2 weeks ago, Concerta extended release 18mg, and while I definitely feel the stimulant working, it’s not really doing anything for my ADHD, simply just stimulating me. I feel a lot more alert and energetic, but it gives me pretty bad anxiety too, however I’m on beta blockers which helps to balance things out.

But my question is, if I increase my dose, isn’t it just gonna make me twice as stimulated? I wouldn’t like that. Like I can tell it works, but it just isn’t doing anything for my symptoms and my racing thoughts are absolutely untouched.

Thanks ! I have a follow up today so wondering if anyone changed from concerta to something else that worked way better ?? I have temporal lobe epilepsy so they were hesitant to put me on Elvanse, but I’m willing to try it as things are quite controlled with my epilepsy.

Thanks again!!!
