Hello fellow badminton lovers,
I'm a self taught player playing since last 4 years now.
I'm playing intermediate-advanced level and I know about forehand grip/backhand grip and mostly comfortable with all the shorts irrespective of forehand backhand..
BUT, I think smashing is my weakness. I'm not able to generate enough power is what I feel. I've watched many videos but yet, as you can see in the video, there is something wrong but I can't tell what am I doing wrong. Either my shots lack power or they are not consistent. Mostly hits net or goes out.
I'm the one near the camera - Any suggestions/critic are duly welcomed! What's one thing I should correct today?
Got my first running shoes - Asics Noosa Tri 16. They have passed Poizon test but concerned with the insole bottom and the weird blue numbers printed on the mid sole in ink.
Is it normal with Asic? Do they look authentic?
Ordered my Asics Noosa Tri 16 from Myntra for 6k and they arrived within 90 minutes!
Poizon test done and they're authentic. My first running shoes.
Joined thinking to get meaningful insights and pointers about the game we all passionately love. Ended up seeing every other post about selling/buying an average racket.
Speaks a lot about the standard of badminton community in India ( I'm also part of similar communities of Japan and Malaysia only problem is that not every other post is in english ).
I might get downvotes on this but had to speak out before leaving. Maybe focus more on the basic form than your 2k rackets.
My playing profile -
* Advanced player on Playo
* Playing 1-2 hours daily
* currently playing with Lining Ranger z1 shoes (v old)
* developing slight heel pain recently
My requirements -
* Not yonex - they are not durable
* Should be light weight + durable.
* Good cushioning but i prefer agility more.
* Good lateral support - specifically looking for that hole shaped arch in the outer sole that provides support.
Please suggest me if you're already using something good. Thank you.
I want to order Mizuno Wave Claw Neo 3 badminton shoes but not able to find it on amazon/local sports shops in Bangalore.
Any idea where can I find Mizuno brand in Bangalore/how to order them in India?
