My Wood Elf Melantha. Corrupted Chosen of Mielikki. Her grove was devastated in a war between a human kingdom and shadow druids.

My Wood Elf Melantha. Corrupted Chosen of Mielikki. Her grove was devastated in a war between a human kingdom and shadow druids.

Unable to process all of the loss, she did the unthinkable and turned to necromancy. She forged a pact with a Dracolich who promised her the power to drive out the invaders and restore her grove to life. It was a lie of course but in her delusions she saw the living dead as the beautiful creatures she once protected. Mielikki has long since cast off this living embodiment of everything she hates but Melantha still believes she serves her goddess.

My first Gith! He's a follower of Oghma and completely unconcerned with the endless astral war... At least until he got tadpoled

Kossith is cosmic traveler who wonders around the planes collecting knowledge for his pal Oghma. He's actually friends with a few gods and frequently drinks and trades riddles with Garl Glittergold. He was never interested in fighting ghaik and left the empire during the early days of Vlaakith's reign. He's going to serve as a foil to Lae'zel and show her there's more to life than Vlaakith and war. I thought this would be a good role for a Gith Tav since most of the Gith story revolves around her. She'd know more about the current state of the empire and he knows more about... everything else.

Pretty cool interaction between The Dread Overlord mod and Circle of Stars Druid

I'm running a warlock/druid build with The Dread Overlord and Circle of Stars Druid for an orc shaman type character. One of the abilities that comes with The Dread Overlord makes your character's eyes glow green, like when you're speaking with the dead. I was surprised when I activated my starry form that it cleared up one of her eyes! It gives off a whole light vs dark vibe and I'm loving it! I have no idea why it's only affecting one eye but it looks awesome regardless.

Mod creator is TheDreadOverlord

New resist Durge! She's a sorcerer/cleric/paladin of Bahamut.

My headcanon is that Bahamut, in his human form, found a young Durge dying on the streets of Baldur's Gate and immediately smelled Bhaal's evil on her. In order to save her life and cleanse her of Bhaal's corruption (He thought she was a regular Bhaalspawn) he gave her a tiny bit of his blood and divinity. He left her with some priests of Ilmater to recover. Over the years she started taking on more and more characteristics of the Platinum dragon but her mind became clouded with Bhaal's murderous ways. After she lost her memories Bahamut has seen another chance for her to resist the dark urge and recover his champion, restoring the holy powers she had lost to corruption.

If you were Bhaal which race would you make a Bhaalspawn?

Personally I think it's an easy choice. Half-orc. The race is already one that is susceptible to strong emotions which can make them act without thinking. Instill in them an overwhelming urge to commit evil and there's likely not much they could do to stop themselves. Half-orcs also have the cunning of their human side and can blend into a civilized society. That being said they will always remain an ostracized people, adding more fuel to The Dark Urge's unstable emotions. I'm not saying Half-orcs wouldn't be able to resist because the same strong emotions can push them to be good, but the ingredients are already there for a perfect bhaalspawn/Durge.

Vorugal, draconic sorcerer/necromancer/dracolich warlock

Vorugal isn't your typical dragonborn. He has an obsession with all things related to magic, including dragons, which made him an outcast among his own kind. He always has his head in a tome, forbidden or otherwise. In his research he stumbled upon a mighty dracolich and gained its favor. This led Vorugal down the path of necromancy. While his master may be evil Vorugal himself is more interested in the process/magic surrounding necromancy. He won't shy away from darkness when necessary for his craft but he's not outright malicious and will always lend a hand... It just might be a little decayed. While not a cleric, Vorugal does keep faith with Mystra and is quite jealous of Gale's past escapades with the mistress of magic.
