I got this from my dad’s friend, hes had it for years and could never get it working. Being as he knew I was a collector he ended up giving it to me today. Supposedly it was an e3 floor demo unit and is very likely to have some of the demos still on it . The original drive asks for an update file, which im not going to try to do. I plugged in another drive with the test kit firmware on it to confirm it works. If anyone knows someone I can get in contact with to help preserve the field please let me know. UPDATE: Drive was formatted 6 years ago sadly
’m just getting into the Castlevania series, I just played through Circle of the moon on GBA and quite liked it, so I ended picking this up (I know the 3D games aren’t very similar to the 2D) Ended up talking down to $165. I haven’t played Castlevania 64, but I know this version is supposed to be much better, can’t wait to get home to try it out!
My vote goes to the clear gbc carts, specifically the ones with save batteries, making the board take up the top of the cart.
I recently picked this up in a bundle, I saw some people online claiming this light gray og gb version was rare as opposed to the gbc version, is this true? I’ve looked at past ebay sales and I see anywhere from 5-60 which is a pretty wide range. if anyone could clarify It’d be much appreciated, thanks!
hello, I just picked up a cobalt sp and was given this along with nicktoons racing for free, I’m pretty certain its fake (darker plastic skinny logo label not fitting right etc) , but my question is why??? Who would make a repro of this? it’s not desirable and is dirt cheap, id probably cost more to buy a repro than just an original. So why does this exist?
I never thought this would be me, I’m still honestly in shock, all discs are there and work and all are CIB except persona and spyro 3 which are missing manuals. I know this seems like a fake post just flexing my collection, so here’s what happened. I put a post on Nextdoor (Facebook but just for your local neighborhood if you havent heard of it) asking if anyone has any older Nintendo or PlayStation games they’d like to sell, one guy responds to me showing all these games, I ask how much for them, and he says 5 dollars. I either thought I was being pranked by another collector, or was gonna get robbed by a guy using an image of some random persons collection. I head over, being extra cautious, and to my surprise the guy was really awesome and just didn’t care about keeping games he’s already beaten, he even ended up giving 20 bucks off the whole stack. I’m so happy to be able to add all these to my collection. Also got a free CD of Human Clay by Creed in one of them lol
