Patrick Soon-Shiong

Hello everyone,
Does anyone have any experience with, or thoughts about, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong? Has anyone here, or someone you know, been treated by him or his team?
Today, our family received devastating news about my sister-in-law. She is only 24 years old and has a 5-year-old child.
For the past year, she has been struggling with extreme fatigue and persistent bone and muscle pain. At one point, she collapsed and was unable to climb the stairs. She was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition affecting her muscles and has been receiving corticosteroid treatment.
Yesterday, her condition became much worse and she was unable to move at all. An MRI was performed, and we were told that they found five tumours on/around her spine. We don’t yet have access to the MRI images or the full report, so we don’t know exactly what type of tumours they are or what this means. She also hasn’t been told yet, which is incredibly difficult for the family.
We are obviously terrified and want to make sure she gets the best possible specialist assessment and treatment as quickly as possible. We are considering reaching out to Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong and his team for an urgent opinion, so I wanted to ask whether anyone here knows of a patient who has been treated by him or has experience dealing with his team.
Any personal experiences or information about how to contact his team for an urgent case would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Booking directly vs through a travel agent

Hi all! 😊
I have a question!
Is it generally better to book through a travel agent or to book directly with Disney?
I already have the transfer form, and I’m planning to transfer my placeholder to a travel agent. I’m assuming booking through an agent would be better because they offer onboard credit.
However, what happens if the price of the cruise drops after I book? I’ve noticed that Disney cruise prices can go up, then come back down again.
If I book through a travel agent and the price drops, can the agent reprice the booking for me, or would I be stuck with the original price?

I invested all my savings into a coffee shop, and I’m terrified it’s going to fail. I really need advice.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for honest advice from people who have experience running cafés or small businesses.
Last month, I opened a coffee shop after investing **all of my savings** and also using my **credit card** to help fund it. This has been my dream, but right now I’m really worried. it’s in a neighbourhood where there are other takeaway cafes with no seating area. my cafe is 60m2. amazing colors. best quality food and coffee.
At the moment, we’re only making around **£50 a day**, but we need to make at least **£200 a day** just to cover our operating costs. At this rate, we’re losing money every day.
One of our biggest problems is **waste**. We end up throwing away food and desserts that don’t sell, and I know that’s hurting us financially.
Another issue is coffee calibration. Our baristas calibrate the espresso machine every morning, and it usually takes around **five shots of coffee** before they’re happy with the settings. That means we’re throwing away several coffees every single day just for calibration. Is this normal? Is there a better way to reduce this waste while still maintaining quality?
I’d really appreciate any advice on:
How to increase daily sales.
Ways to reduce food and coffee waste.
Whether using around five shots to calibrate each morning is standard practice or if we’re doing something wrong.
Any mistakes you made when your café first opened that you wish you’d known sooner.
I’m feeling overwhelmed because I’ve put everything into this business, and I really want to make it work. Any advice or suggestions would mean a lot.
Thank you.

side hustles 2026 to pay credit card

I’m trying to find a way to earn an extra £300–£600 per month to help pay off my credit card and improve my finances.
I’m looking for realistic passive or semi-passive income ideas. I’m happy to put in the work upfront if it can eventually generate income with minimal ongoing effort.
Has anyone built something that genuinely works?
I’m interested in ideas like:
Amazon FBA, KDP, or Merch on Demand
Digital products
Print-on-demand
Affiliate marketing
Websites or apps
Investing (if suitable)
Anything else that has worked for you
If you’re making money this way, I’d really appreciate hearing:
What you do
How much you invested to get started
How long it took before you saw consistent income
Whether you’d recommend it to someone starting today
I’m not looking for scams or “get rich quick” schemes—just practical ideas from people with real experience.
Thanks in advance!

Anastrozole for female

Hi
Anyone here had some experience as a female taking anastrozole for growth?
Will it affect future fertility?
Was there any significant growth after taking it?
I know it will slow the plates closure. But what about the side effects?

I’m asking as my daughter has been prescribed it and I’m really concerned about the hair thinning, in wanted body hair. She needs extra 6 cm to be on the acceptable height

best glue for the slime..--need help!

Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate your help. I’m very new to the slime world, and we are opening a small café and there is an activity where kids can create their own slime.

I’m trying to understand what makes the best slime, including the right ingredients, ratios, and tips for getting the texture right. I’d also love guidance on how to choose a good glue, as I’m based in the UAE and Elmer’s glue is very expensive here.

If you can recommend any reliable alternatives, share basic slime ratios, or point me toward helpful resources, I would be very grateful.

Thank you so much!

Slime making!

Hi there

I’m very new in the slime world! We used to buy them but would love to make them.

What so the best kids friendly color and scent brands?

Do you always use foam and saline water?

Shocked and crying

Hi there,

I’m feeling really stressed and overwhelmed. I recently had an MRI scan, and the doctor told me I have early stage 3 endometriosis. She explained that the endometriosis has spread into the muscle of the uterus.

According to her, the only options are either removing the uterus, which is absolutely not an option for me, or starting hormone therapy.

She is recommending an injection to be taken on day 1 or 2 or 3 or 5 of my cycle to suppress/block the hormones for around two months. After that, she wants to do a hysteroscopy and endometrial scratching to help improve the uterine environment.

I honestly feel very anxious and confused about all of this.

This is the injection name

Decapeptyl

I want to have a baby! I feel my head will explode from thinking and disappointment. I hate my self that I delayed it until now.

Please tell me if the objection helped you to get pregnant
