All the way back in 2018 I had a dream where I invented a completely new and bizarre dessert called chocolate covered cheese. The name is self-explanatory; it was cheese that had been dipped in chocolate.

The dream begins with me and my family cooking in my grandma's kitchen. There were bowls upon bowls of chocolate chips and cubes of white aged cheddar (I used to eat a lot of aged white cheddar when I was growing up).

My mom was melting chocolate on the stove, while me and my grandma were dipping the cubes of cheese in the chocolate. Once we were done dipping the cheese in the chocolate, we let them dry out for half an hour. Once all the cheese was drying, I took a bite of one of the strange confectioneries we made. It tasted almost like a sweet and salty cheesecake with a slight savory undertone.

Apparently, the reason we made so many is that we were going to sell them at my high school, and that they were a massive hit at the school. I also found out that I was the one who came up with the whole idea of dipping cheese in chocolate.

Just about when we were going to pack the cheese, I immediately woke up. The dream was bizarre, but it gave me a crazy idea of dipping cheese in chocolate. Although unfortunately I never got to bring this idea to reality as I was very busy with school.

A couple of years later however, I discovered that chocolate covered cheese was already a thing and was a lot more common than I initially thought. What's funny is that it wasn't even the strangest food combination I've found, as I've seen chocolate covered pickles, deep fried mars bars and even deep-fried butter, along with deep fried kool-aid! Yes, those are real food combinations look it up!

Out curiosity have any of you heard of chocolate covered cheese or have even tried it for yourself? I'd like to know!

All the way back in 2012 I had this extremely frightening nightmare about this demonic wind-up duck. A nightmare that has stuck with me all years since having it. Let me explain what happened.

Growing up I used to play with this white wind-up duck. I don't remember where I got it. I just remember that I used to play with it all the time. I unfortunately don't have it anymore nor do I have a photo of it. So, I had to just use an image I found on google images. I however once I had a dream about this specific toy. Although it wasn't a pleasant one, far from it.

The dream begins with me at my grandma's house. I was standing on her driveway and noticed my wind-up duck toy was walking on the pavement.

I approached the toy but immediately stopped when thought entered my mind. It told me, “Don't touch it or you'll be sorry.” I did as the thought told me. However, even though I didn't want to touch the toy duck. I immediately lost control of my body and touched it anyways.

When I did these loud screams played in my head. Along with various images appearing in my vision. These images consisted of distorted faces, demonic symbols, and other abstract things I couldn't make out.

I immediately woke up in a sweat. It was still nighttime. I didn't want to go back for fear I'd have another nightmare. So, I tried to stay up. However, exhaustion got the better of me, and I fell back to sleep. Thankfully I didn't have anymore nightmares after that.

I don't know why I'd have such a negative dream about that toy. I've never had any negative experiences with the toy, nor did it scare me in any way. After having the dream, I didn't touch my wind-up duck toy for almost a week.

Out of curiosity have any of you had any nightmares of a toy or something you enjoy. I'd like to know.

All the way back in 2017 I had this bizarre dream an about this strange, distorted Minecraft world. A minecraft world that wasn't all that different from the farlands. While a dream about the minecraft farlands might not seem that remarkable. However, this all happened before I ever knew or heard about the farlands existence. Let me explain what happened.

Growing up I used to play a lot of minecraft and still do today. In fact, I'm currently playing a world that I've turned into a post apocalyptic zombie survival game using various mods. So, I have no doubt this would've affected my dreams.

The dream begins with this bright light shinning in my eyes. I couldn't see a thing.  Then this strange music started to slowly fade in. It sounded like a symphony orchestra, but it sounded all muffled and distorted. 

Eventually the light dimmed enough that I could see. I seemed to of been floating slowly through the air in what appeared to be a minecraft world. However, the terrain of this world was distorted and not how it should be.

For starters the ground wasn't it usual flat vast landscape. Instead, it was these narrow straight parallel lines. They were all lined up next side by side and floating above each other. It went on as far as the eye could see. Nothing but a void of these straight lines of terrain.

These lines of terrain were also almost completely barren with it just being bare dirt and no mobs whatsoever. There were the occasional tree or water and lava pit. Sometimes there was even water or lava leaking from one of the upper lines. But that was pretty much all there was on these lines.

The entire dream was nothing but floating around in this bizarre minecraft world with the same repeating terrain along with the distorted orchestra music. This kept going until I eventually woke up.

I'm not too sure how to explain this dream. I wasn't exactly a nightmare, but it wasn't a good dream either. It was weird, that's all I can describe it as. I didn't think much about it as I had school that day. In fact, I pretty much forgot about the dream entirely as time passed.

However, about a few months later I stumbled across a YouTube video discussing the minecraft farlands (I don't remember which one video it was). Out of curiosity I clicked on the video. In the video the guy discusses that 12,550,821 blocks away from the world spawn. The terrain generation begins to glitch creating this strange, distorted landscape known as the far lands. 

I immediately remembered my dream I had months ago. While the real farlands were different than what appeared in my dream. They still looked eerily similar to the minecraft world from my dream. Let me remind you that I haven't heard of the farlands prior to having the dream.

Now this could be a result of playing too much minecraft as it was my most played game at the time. But it’s still crazy how had a dream about the farlands before knowing that they were even a thing. I feel like I somewhat predicted the future with this one. It wasn't even the only time this has happened as I had a dream about an Ebola outbreak prior to the covid-19 pandemic. I don't believe I'm psychic or anything, but I still find it crazy.

Out of curiosity have any you had any dreams related to minecraft or any other games or media you like? I'd like to know.

For the sake of privacy, I'll be going by the name Peter in this post.

I'm sure many of us have experienced sleep paralysis at some point in our lives. Sometimes even encountering a shadowy figure. Well, I experienced something like this all the way back in 2016.

The nightmare begins with me waking up in my bed. I was unable to move my body except for my head. I turned my head and saw this shadowy figure standing right next to me. I didn't feel any emotions when I saw the figure. It took me a minute to figure out who the being was, but I soon realized it was my dad.

My dad leaned towards me and started whispering to me. He spoke. “Peter!” “Peter, get up we need to go!” “Come on, we need to go before they find us”. All while I was trying to get up but couldn't.

My dad then leaned in closer and was about to say something. However, before he could speak, I woke up for real. It was still nighttime. Thankfully I was able to move my body. I checked my clock to see that it was 4 in the morning. I went back to sleep and didn't have any more nightmares. I don't remember what the other dream was. All I knew was that it wasn't a nightmare.

This dream has stuck with me all these years. I've experienced sleep paralysis in the past, but I've haven't encountered a being up until that point. Although I'm too sure if counts as sleep paralysis if I was fully asleep.

What also stuck with was what my dad meant by “Before they find us”. We don't know anyone or have any enemies who would be actively hunting us down.
