Honestly, not even horny here, I just think that, especially for fan models, its so easy for me to tune out. Like those early, really shiny FNAF Source models. Or, like, Deltarune fan models can be kinda hit or miss for me.

Haytham Francoise-Taylor:

-May in the Brainrot timeline.

-Somehow, the more bookish of the two, even if he is a complete dork about his mom's books. That's also how he chose his name.

-And he's also transmasc. Haytham has only kept it a secret as long as he has because he wants to be an assassin. His idols are Rodd and Lilly, he's not getting very far without violence.

Lilly/Malus Lilium:

-Shockingly, both survive the first arc of Wataoshi with the power of ~~dating themselves, literally~~ hopes and dreams. Now, they are a local pastor that Haytham goes to to threaten God.

-Malus is also a DEEP mysogynist. How he handles also being genderfluid? Fuck if I know. she makes their own sandwiches when Lilly isn't fronting, I guess. This was just an excuse for me to use a Sky Pirate Girlfriends screencap. I thought it was a deeply ironic character trait that would be kinda funny in main Brainrot.

-Malus also hates Rei, but that doesn't say much when the only ones in the Bauer family that would willingly talk to Rei alone cordially is Yu, Misha, and Lilly.

-I also made up Malus as Lilly's alter's name because they never name him in canon.

uj/ I hate tagging on some anime sites. There was a straight up, straight M/F shoujo anime with only 3 MAIN CHARACTERS, TWO OF WHICH WERE DUDES, that got a yuri tag.

rj/ Yuri Gagarin will get the yuri tag until viewership improves.

Charity's nice, isn't it?

I've been trying to redraw this panel from chapter 1, and oh my god, Claire's posing looks weird to me. It isn't even just one thing. It's the waist, the arms, the shoulders, it just is kinda off, idk. Maybe its my eye for anatomy and basic shapes being kinda ass.

The posing and dialogue were meant to be references to Pixy from Ace Combat 0, I just thought that would be funny.

I'm starting to realize drawing on a phone with Ibis Paint sucks.

A bit of a lighter chapter while I get my bearings on what I want for the rest of the festival arc. The next part of Way Of The Maid is coming, with the creme brulée, but I'm going to do some original art for the arc, too.

Secondly, this edit isn't a main manga chapter, as you can see. Instead, it's from Maid's Kitchen, a SOL miniseries published on the same magazine, Comic Yurihime. First chapter honestly was kind of boring, but I like this one better. I'm probably going to read this while I wait for chapter 64 to come out.

Thirdly, I didn't know what a Cake Salé was until looking it up. I don't like ham, so imagine my horror as I looked at a cake with my arch nemesis in pork form front and center.

Basically, I recently had the intrusive thought if, despite not even finishing part 1 of the series in terms of planning for Brainrot, coming up with the idea for a version of TAAFM for the AU. Mostly because I came up with way too good of a parody title. I couldn't not think about the idea of calling it "Put 'Em Up and Fight Me", and it has since ruined my day because May's hair genuinely gave me headaches for some reason. I've only just started art, bear with me if it wildly fluctuates in quality.

The idea was that it is kinda an entirely original plot following, pretty much, directly from part 1 of Wataoshi to the time period of TAAFM. Some stuff from vol. 3-5 happen, but not to the extent in canon.

Anyways, Claire and Rei adopt Aleah and May like in canon, but the biggest difference comes from one thing: Aleah and May grow to genuinely DESPISE the other as they reach high school, where now their beef has basically spread to their immediate circle of friends and extended family. Mostly due to them being compared to one another. Maybe also being a very specific series of events kickstarting the beef, idk.

Aleah probably acts more like early canon Claire and a bit of Misha, and May takes more after canon Rei and Brainrot Rod in the enthusiasm and violemce department. A calculating, strategizing villainess-type character, and her sister who just wants to punch her lights out. All as their mothers are currently trying to calm them down to absolutely no avail.

If this chapter is a bit awkwardly paced, I'm sorry, primarily what I'm doing is seeing how I can play around with the format to make the Manaria arc a bit more bearable to write around by adding pages. It's just an incredibly straight-forward arc.

And also providing probably one of the biggest differences from canon Wataoshi aside from personalities and Rei's backstory : Rod and Lene are now the first people who know Rei's at least not from their time, if not from their world entirely. I'm setting up a bit about Rei knowing about the Commoner Movement right after the cafe, too.

This is my favorite chapter in the original manga for a reason. I will shout from the rooftops that Lene is my favorite. It's also just a really cute chapter, and I like Lene and Rae's relationship between each other and with Claire.

Sadly, Lorek x Lambert was never a thing. That would have made this whole arc funnier.

Now, the only clip I saw of KGC is that one clip with bootleg Mothra. But, also, hear me out: They just went, like, the whole way on the Mothra thing, she is literally cosplaying as Mothra in that scene, why the hell-

Still waiting on whether there's a king ghidorrah rival, then I'll watch, that would be cool as hell.
