Advice needed on buying a man's woolen shirt

Sadly, my woolen shirts are reaching, or possibly have exceeded, their useful lives. I'd like to buy another two or so. Immediately I visited Pendleton's website and find their shirts are $200 or so. Now I could afford that price, but I'm not enthusiastic about spending such money on a shirt. I do care for my woolens to prevent insect damage, but I'm rather casual with my clothes otherwise -- no clothes horse, me. To me, a woolen shirt is a practical garment for cold-weather wear, that will retain its "warmth" (insulative properties) when wet. Hence, I want functional woolens, not "runway class" woolens.
My question, then, is where (if anywhere) can I purchase such woolen shirts? Any advice appreciated.

Can anyone point me to a source for a 120 VAC clock mechanism?

I have a clock with a burned-out motor and mechanism. Looks fried. But the clock face, case and glass are in fine condition. I'd like to replace the works with an off-the-shelf mechanism (probably including the clock hands, but maybe I can reuse the existing ones). I know where to get battery-powered clock works, but specifically do not want one of those.

Does anyone know a source?

Guidence / Experiences Sought about Side-by-Side Tandem Bikes

A friend and I love to go bicycling, but her meds now make her a bit unstable and she's lost confidence in riding her own bike. I actually own a tandem bike, but she'd have to ride in the rear on that one and she can't see past me -- and really doesn't like that.
I've been reading a bit about side-by-side tandem bikes, and they seem attractive, but I have many questions. I'd like to hear from folks with experience with such bikes, good or bad.
Brand recommendations are welcome. Price is not much of an object because I'm viewing this as if it were a medical device (i.e., expensive). Transporting the thing could be an issue, and I'd like to hear peoples experiences.

Is driving behind a backing car the new etiquette?

For the past few years it has happened rather frequently that when backing out of a parking space, some car drives right behind me, like I wasn't there. Mind you, I look back and sideways before I back up, I back slowly, and I keep looking around as I back. But some yoyos just barrel on through like I'm not there. I slam on my brakes and curse a blue streak. Has anyone else noticed this?

Well, couldn't create a POF account - no computer camera. What OLD sites can I use?

Just went through all the rigamarole to create a POF account only to find they must "verify" my photo, a process requiring a camera on my computer. My computer doesn't have a camera. They could have warned me of this requirement before I began, but they didn't.

So what OLD service can I use without a computer camera? I really don't want to try each one.
