'24 Z71 Shuddering. Those who have had it repaired, how did it go? Any long term effects?

My Z71 has 18,900 miles on it. I just started to experience the transmission shudder. I'm taking it to the dealer next week. I plan on keeping it parked in driveway until then. Looking for those with the experience of getting it repaired and any subsequent problems. TIA!

First Time Chevy app notified me of an available Update

I received these 2 notifications yesterday for Update 633.20. I have had several updates since July '24 when I bought my '24 Z71 but first time the Chevy app on my phone notified me.

The update went just fine and the release notes were accurate. FYI

Wow! JGC '26 2.0L Takes off like a rocket

https://preview.redd.it/h5hl7k9m4fgh1.png?width=1579&format=png&auto=webp&s=598848d3d976bfec836f6f3744edade4c0165842

Just got our 2026 JGC Limited 4x4 out of our dealer service dept. They performed two recalls on the 2.0L Hurricane I4 Turbo. We have 1,800 miles on it.

First was RSU 26-104 which software updated the TCM and PCM modules. There is no more throttle lag on launch nor any transmission shaking at low speed. It really takes off immediately! This is definitely faster than our 2020 3.6L Pentastar

Second was the 1-66D to replace the main spark plugs.

For those interested, I included the work order detail on the above recalls. FYI

Mint Mobile Customers Just Got A Free Data Upgrade On Every Plan. Considered best by JD Power

If you don't currently subscribe to Mint Mobile, you might be wondering if this free data upgrade might finally win you over. JD Power says Mint Mobile leads the way in customer satisfaction, but let's do the math.

The lowest-tier plan, 6 GB, costs $15 a month, with payment due upfront; the amount you'll owe will vary depending on whether you choose a 3-, 6-, or 12-month plan.

Compare that to Xfinity, which also costs $15 a month for unlimited data, but only for the first year. After that, it's $45 a month.

Meanwhile, Mint Mobile's unlimited phone plan costs $30 a month. Sounds like a no-brainer, right? Especially since many wireless companies try to sell you service bundles. Who needs a phone plan that works like cable TV if you're just going to use streaming services like Netflix? Well, Mint Mobile is no stranger to limitations.

Updated my '24 Z71 to Version 661.21

The Z71 did an over-the-air update this morning. It was fairly large over 3GB. In reviewing the release notes it was dominantly for correcting issues with CarPlay.

I don't use CarPlay, I use Android Auto. I think a community member had has issue with this version when they updated where they had to disconnect the battery for 10 or 15 minutes and that seem to correct it all. I didn't have any problems after the update. FYI.

2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Bluetooth Issues

Anyone experiencing bluetooth issues in the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee? My phone keeps disconnecting from android auto and bluetooth in general. I have to unpair the jeep and phone, reboot my phone, and reboot the UConnect 5 infotainment system to get to where I can re-pair them again. Others having issues if so were you able to get it fixed? Thank you.

Joined the Club. Picked it up yesterday...

We traded in our 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 Limited for this 2026 Grand Cherokee 4x4 Limited. Got a pretty good deal. I was surprised at the trade-in value because it was a couple of thousand more than Kelly Blue Book. It seems Jeep Dealers are eager for pre-owned Jeep Grand Cherokees.

I was worried about the engine given the comments. However, many other reviewers were positive about it. The 2.0L Turbo Hurricane has more HP and Torque than the 3.6L Pentastar in the 2020. I like the new engine. Glad they kept the 8 speed transmission. Obviously we will see how it does as others have experienced either good or bad.

I started have a problem with the air inlet panel which sits below the windshield. One side got separated and the rubber/plastic piece that goes across the bottom of the shield fell below the windshield.

I had it repaired in Nov. 25 and it broke again this past week. The dealer told me there was a technical bulletin#25-NA-127 (attached link) which required new parts to be ordered. They will call when the parts come in.

This just an FYI for those who may be having the same problem.

For those of you who have a 2022 or later model and who use Android Auto. I've had Gemini on my Google Home smart home manager for 5 months and works really well. This should make the AA use even better.
