Local handyman?

I am not good at anything home related it seems and would be looking for nothing more than help hanging a single item into drywall. I already took measurements, used a lazer level, and tried installing drywall anchors myself, but something isnt quite right and I can't get the item to securely sit against the wall.

Does anyone have any recommendations for such a simple "project" that I should have been able to do myself but can't? I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I'm looking for suggestions to make a build sturdier and more rigid.

I have a very large mosaic build that I need some advice to make sturdier than it is. I thought by upgrading from the usual 2x6 plates in the back to 2x12 plates, that it would assist more than it did. This monstrosity still twists and bends more than I would like, and I'm not comfortable hanging it until I'm confident it's a little more stable.

You are looking at the back of a 6x16 (96) build using 6302092's, built in the same fashion as other Lego tile art builds such as the World Map 31203.

My Current Lego Collection

I don't make many posts to Reddit, so please forgive any formatting errors, also I couldnt figure out how to add individual captions or descriptions to each image, so if there are any questions, just ask and I'll do my best to answer.

Another redditor wanted to see some pictures of my Lego Art pieces, and I can't exactly post them without posting the whole collection. Hope you enjoy.

I know it's cluttered, but I have too many Legos and not enough space. All the empty spaces are because I've been disassembling sets and putting them into storage, so I can try to reorganize to fit my next Lego Art piece which is 23,754 pieces, so I need to make space somehow.

Please don't tell me I just wasted weeks of time trying to make instructions.

I am really hoping someone can help me out so I haven't just wasted weeks of my time trying to make instructions.

I have a mosaic build that is 6x16 (96) canvas pieces, my PC cannot handle instructions with the 23,750 pc build. So I cut the build into (16) 1x6 sections and created instructions for those . I was then thinking I could take those 16 sections and make instructions for just those. Well, you apparently can't do that and the instruction maker still wants to go thru over 400 pages of instructions.

Am I overlooking some feature of Studio that can handle what I want to do? Is there a way to take the 1x6 sections and just make them 1 piece, so the instruction maker can just assemble 16 sections?

Suggestions for other jobs where manufacturing experience transfers well?

I am very unhappy with my current job, I've been in manufacturing either in machine operation, or quality for over 20 years. I'm not seeing any worth while jobs in my area to stay in manufacturing.

Has anyone made a successful jump outside of manufacturing where their skills transfered well?

I technically wouldn't mind staying in quality, if I could find another shop that actually cared about their quality, but all the jobs postings in my area right now are seemingly looking for just warm bodies to do the work on the cheap, not really looking to take a $8/hr pay cut just to move to another job that's more of the same. So I'm hoping someone has some advice for transferring skills to another industry.

Anyone successfully made the jump out of manufacturing? Kind of at my wits end here.

TV buying has gotten so confusing, I could use an assist.

I currently have a Samsung UN65MU8500 that just started having some unexplained damage to the screen, I know it's likely dead and needs replacing. I used to be a Samsung fanboy, but all the forced ads and crap with Samsung now, staying with them isn't such a huge deal for me.

I still want 4k, and would like to remain 65". I would really like as little forced AI/ads as possible. Main use nowadays is casual movies and TV wifi streaming / 4k Bluray use, no 'real' gaming anymore, maybe just some very occasional nostalgic playing. Daytime and nighttime use.

I am not looking to spend a ton of money on a TV again, but also dont want to buy something so cheap it needs to be replaced in another few years. Maybe around $1k to $1250 range, the less the better. But I'm hesitant to grab a $300 TV too, figuring you still get what you pay for.

I've been trying to read reviews on other websites and here on reddit, but am really getting a bit overwhelmed with all the different letter designations and features that I don't quite understand, and honestly dont feel like doing a deep dive just to buy something midrange.

I think I should be looking something from Sony from what I can tell(or maybe LG), but there are so many different opinions and options now, i'm just confused. I think OLED is likely overkill for what I need( from what I gather), but is currently the best? So I should be looking for something more like a LED or I guess a mini- LED Screen?

Most of the reviews I'm seeing seem to be nit picking over the tiniest details aimed at the 'purist' types, which I am not, I just dont want something that's over priced crap that'll die in just a few years.

Any recommendations or direction I should be looking in? Or is the fact that I'm not splitting hairs over the small technical details mean I can just buy whatever TV tickles my fancy nowadays?

Thank you for any help.

Samsung UN65MU8500 screen damage?

I have no idea what has happened to my screen all of a sudden. I haven't bumped it with anything, hasn't been moved in any way recently, and I live alone. I only just noticed it today

How screwed am I?

Color Unavailable error?

I am working on a very large custom mosaic build right now, the whole thing is built, but I have a lot of yellow exclamation marks saying 'color unavailable', even though I can find these parts, in their respective colors, from either Bricklink/Lego. So why is Studio confused saying that these parts do not exist in these colors?

For example, the parts I'm trying to fix right now are BL ID 3070, a 1x1 square tile. Studio is saying it doesn't exist in some colors, even thought I am able to find them all on BL. I have tried to swap the pieces around with 3070a (Tile 1x1 without groove) or 3070b (tile 1x1 with groove), but it says the colors don't exist in either, but I can find it on BL.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug with Bricklink?
