A long long time ago, Skycards was changing. A lot. And I’d also seen a lot of my favorite apps being enshiattified beyond recognition. And Skycards was changing, and maybe certain changes weren’t super well thought out, and maybe I didn’t believe they were honestly just in the midst of figuring stuff out and maybe I thought they were enshiattifying themselves, too.

I was wrong. And I’m sorry for my lack of faith. You made good, Skycards. I came back and you seem pretty cool for a casual user. I really appreciate you.

I waited decades figuring that a) I wasn’t worth it and b) the different physiology would mean it wouldn’t hit as hard.

I wasted all that time and the people who make the Magic Wand should be paying me now for how desperately I want to beg everyone to get their own. Gals, that’s the difference, a toy v. an appliance. An easy-bake oven v. an actual oven. You can make cookies with both. Are you sure you’ve experienced a full Thanksgiving dinner?

I'm very sorry to be a bother, I once saw a gif of THAT moment in Vox Machina ep 114, the level 9 Counterspell, that had some really extensive subtitles and that gave more context than what I have been able to find even on YT. Commentary about what might have gone on in the background (prenegotiations), etc.

One can piece together the context on YouTube, but somehow this gif told the entire, campaign-long story that led to it. I knew almost nothing of CR at the time, but it helped me remember emotions exist. It helped me bawl my eyes out knowing comparatively little about the campaign or characters before that, while I was getting into all of it.

I'm very emotionally crippled, and so few things allow me to cry. I'd really appreciate getting this one back.
