1 Corinthians 10:13
“No temptation has seized you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful, he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

Thank you, Jesus, that you lived on this earth in a human body and experienced all the feelings and temptations that we feel. Thank you that you understand our every weakness, emotion, and temptation. When we are tempted to think or act in a way that dishonors you and is not good for us, please help us to recognize it and put your Word in our hearts so that we can stand against it. Please show us the way of escape that you have provided and give us the strength to choose the right way, not to earn your favor, because it is already freely given to all believers, but because you desire what is best for our lives.

1 John 4:18
18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Father thank you from the bottom of our hearts that when we believe in Jesus we are made perfect in love and no longer need to live in fear even fear of death for you have conquered death for all believers. Please help us to come to a greater understanding of the depth of your love for us and show us how to live and how to share your love with others. We pray in Jesus name amen

Book of Job 22:21

Father, we thank you that our lives are in your hands. Thank you that you choose to bless those who follow you and submit to your will, not out of fear, but out of the knowledge that your will is what is best for us.

Please help us, Father, to surrender the areas of our lives that we are holding onto out of pride or fear of letting go. We place ourselves in your care, please give us the perfect peace that comes from knowing your will is perfect.
