I’ve lately discovered that playing games for like an hour after work really relaxes me. I’m a teacher so any form of relaxing is good. Been playing on my switch 2.

I’m not an obsessed gamer, and my hobbies, exercise, work, and partner all come first. I basically do 1-3 one hour sessions a week, and a bit longer on the school holidays.

I’m kinda thinking about a series S to access more games. Have found a bunch at say cashies for $400 or so.

Financially stable so it’s not really the price, more whether I actually need one.

Edit: it’s basically the newer assassins creed games and I guess modded Skyrim too that’s steering me toward the Xbox

I currently work a low SES school in regional QLD. Third year in.

I’m not actually hating life. I’ve become a house coordinator and have been told I’m being bred to fill in HOD/HODSS when those roles come up.

I’m not hating life, but I am exhausted from just incessant small behavioural issues, and the inability of admin to be consistent in what they need to be.

I do like my coworkers and school community. And I am able to leave on the bell most days if I come in at 7 (so an 8 hour day), and I never need to work weekends on only work maybe 3 days on the holidays to prep.

My main problem is the admin, as well as the lack of care from students (via their families). But like I say, that means I have a very easy workload.

I have an opportunity for an interview at an Anglican School that looks very tempting. Same school size, similar commute.

People who’ve experienced private - is it worth it?

My tanks are:
3ft:
- 12 albino corys
- 2 honey gourami
- 6 otos
- 20 cardinals
- 4 nerites
- 1 bristlenose

1.5ft
- 20 young red cherry shrimp (want a big colony)

Both heavily planted

Do I have room in any tank for maybe 8-10 Pygmy’s? Which tank would they be best in?

I am particularly looking for more secluded ones. No packed caravan parks etc. Have a 4wd.

Planted with plenty of driftwood and a cave that I made for my shrimp who all escaped :(

We are a couple looking to improve our camping set up and explore some 4x4 access spots.

Looking at a novated lease (yes I’ve checked - it works for me) for the above. The MUX is the 3.0L version. Both are 2025 models - new.

I’m not fussed either way between a Ute or wagon. Using it for weekend camping trips. Won’t be wanting a rooftop, awning, or anything. Currently don’t use a fridge. So just need something to carry camp gear, 4x4, and practical.
