Questions on a 1997 Z3 Roadster

I contemplating butting a 97’ Z3 roadster with 86,000 miles on it, the car looks immaculate for its age with no rust no dents, the paint still look new, the interior is in great condition, no seat tears or anything of the sort, all powered thing work as they should it runs great. However my dad says that they are junk, but doing some research shows they can last a very long time given proper maintenance which I intend on doing my self. The seller wants $7,000 obo. What do you guys think? Is my dad right or is this a good, and reliable buy?

Who is a small country artist you enjoy that not many know about?

This post is really about trying to find “not so big named artist” my small country artist that I enjoy is Jay Skaggs, found him a couple months ago, and even had a chance to see him live as well, for not being well known, he certainly one of the better country artists in the new style of this genre.

What the hell is this

This rifle is from Facebook, I was scrolling around. Person said it’s “K98” the “story goes as follows” in 1945 the sellers grandfather took it from a castle in Germany and brought it to the states, and then the guy bought it, story sounds wrong but that’s me. The guy says barrel is “one piece “ and is marked “Krupp Steel” and it’s in “5.56x57” his words not mine.

Sten MK2

Had the chance to fire my first Machine gun today at 19, it wouldn’t have taken this long if the range somewhat close to me only allows 21 and older for the machine guns but that’s fine. Friend of mine at the range I go to has one, and also has a BAR hopefully that’s soon but no rush.

We serious?

Seller has no description of the rifle, and wants about $11,000-$13,000 more than the rifle is worth, should be less because there is a massive crack in the stock, along with nothing matching. People are crazy

Is this a lost cause?

Bought this M1 Carbine a couple months ago, and shot it today, I want to be a able to take the sling and oiler out, but along the way realized who ever had it before me put the sling on wrong. Any ideas on getting this out? Or is the sling toast, and I’m going to have to cut it? and am I better off buying a new one. Thanks 😊

Oaks PA GunShow

Oaks gun show treated me good again, not in picture but will be soon, is a 1936 code S/42 100% matching K98K. Which I am very happy with. And will be receiving within a couple months. In picture is a K98 bayonet that will go with the rifle (not matching) and 2 non surplus (obviously) 30 rnd mags, with a kitty cat, and A Raccoon.

This cannot be real

Gun broker never ceases to amaze me. 100% sure no one will ever be dumb enough to buy this, but I’m sure he knows what he’s got.

First Bayonet that I bought that didn’t come with a rifle

This came in today, and it is beautiful for its age, I’m not 100% sure when it was made but I would assume some time between 1870-1890s. I could be wrong. It is a model 1871 Vetterli sword bayonet. Paired with is is my M70/87/15 Vetterli.

Bayonet on EBay, I’m kinda interested in, I’m trying to get a bayonet for my Italian 1870/87/15 Vetterli, but the seller isn’t too sure what it actually is, he’s asking $350 for it.

I’ve had this for about a year now, and plan on shooting surplus ammo out of it, i would like any info on the rifle if possible, what model etc, so I can get the right cleaning rod for it, also the screw on the trigger guard if toast, an im certain im gonna destroy it when removing it, so wondering where i can get another one? Also by the barrel band, is that a problem? Or would it come off with some steel wool, I’ve shot close to 60-80 rounds through it already and have had no issues. Thanks for the info in advance.

Just picked these up, how does German surplus 8mm compare to the other countries that made them. Also are these corrosive?
