How did I do?

Back in the sport at 40 after 25 years away. My son showed interest, took him to a free practice at our local track and I caught the bug again.

Gave $400 for it. Good deal? Did I get taken? Rode a 97 speed series as a kid so I wanted another one.

Easiest trails in DFW?

I have an 12 year old who just started expressing interest in doing some trail riding. He also just learned how to ride within the year. We’ve hit River Legacy and he had a tough time but that was mainly due to his bike being too small, we’ve since got him an appropriate size.

So just looking for the absolute easiest trails so I don’t kill his confidence and he can improve his skill.

EDIT: He would like to do more of mountain bike/single track type trails

Help with Cues crankset

Installed a new Cues crankset on my ridge pro. Installed fine but what goes here? There was no dust cover or anything in the box.

Please forgive the potentially stupid question but…

Is there a place (not necessarily a physical store) like Harbor Freight for bike tools?

I am just now getting into riding bikes and I like to learn and maintain my own stuff. I come from 20 years in the car scene and I would always do my own work and Harbor Freight tools were always enough for what I was doing.

Not running a bike shop or anything just wanted a cheaper option for bike specific tools that aren’t super expensive but will get the job done. I understand the buy once, cry once philosophy but for someone just maintaining I was wondering if something like this existed.

Also if this doesn’t belong here, my bad. New to this.

Form based ads for mobile service business

I own a very small headlight restoration business. It’s super niche so that doesn’t help right off the bat I know. I have ran all types of ads trying to get business. Lead form ads have worked the best so far but even that has varied success.

Is there anything I can do to help bring in quality leads. It seems all my leads are tire kickers or ghost completely. I have a few qualifying questions to try and weed some of it out but inevitably I still get the same results.

Any and all tips and suggestions are appreciated!
