Do I actually need internal recording?

Hey guys,
I've been into cameras for a while, I have a boom mic, and now I wanted to buy a wireless mic setup.

I was thinking of buying a dji one (unless someone has better suggestions).

My problem is that I can only find:

  1. Mini 2 at a very good price

  2. Mic 2, also at a very good price, but only 1 transmitter with no option to buy a second one separately

  3. Mic 3, at almost 3 times the price of he mini 2.

The main difference for me (from what I understand) would be internal recording. The 8gb of the mic 2 would be more than enough for me, but I do really want a second transmitter or there is no point in having a wireless setup. I'm not sure I see myself ever using more than 2 transmitters, though.

Should I eat the cost and go for the mic 3, or stay with the mini 2 for now? How often have you found yourself regretting not having it (I assume mostly for redundancy)?

I don't do this professionally, but I would like to get into it more, and I already have a professional full frame setup and lens.

PS: I understand tat buying advices are not accepted. My question is about internal recording, and I will use it to inform my purchase myself.

Referrals disabled

Hello there,

I just had my referrals disabled after sending one to a friend.

I think what happened is that I initially sent him an outlier-wide link, then after he passed the assessments he didn't see any aether invite, so I sent him the aether link too. This probably was counted as a double referral.

I know about TOS, but for now I still have access to the platform and timer. How worried should I be? I don't really care about referrals, but I sure would be upset if it resulted in a platform ban.

Finally got my very first task... went above allotted time

Hey,

mostly writing this hoping someone will quell my fears.

Been waiting for 2 months to get a paid task, today I finally got one.

Except when I opened it, it gave me 2 hours not only to do the task, but also to study all of the guidelines (the qual did not metion any of them at all).

I ended up going at least 30 minutes over, and submitted an expired task.

Did I just screw myself forever, or is it understood that the first task might take considerably longer?

Btw, I still logged 1 hour 59 minutes as my time worked.

Is there a way to shift the whole itinerary by a few days?

Hello,

I have a full itinerary planned out, but I would like to move it back by 3 days.

I tried to change the dates on the top, but it says that doing so will "delete the last 3 days" so I assume it means it's not actually shift the itinerary, just changing the dates being displayed.

Is there a way to shift the itinerary without having to move them up one by one? the itinerary is for 45 days and 150+ items...

Been using the Kast card (I know I'm dumb) and getting paranoid about an auth

Hello there,

Been using Kast finance because it was one of the only options available in my residence country.
I know about all the people getting their account deleted out of nowhere, but I've always topped it up shortly before using it, and never leaving too much balance on it.

Yesterday though, I had a problem paying on Amazon with it (Amazon's fault, not Kast), but while the first time the authorization was reverted right away, I'm still waiting for my second reversal.

I'm getting a bit worried, but at the same time I don't want to contact customer service and raise even more flags.

Does anyone have a best course of action? It's not the biggest amount of money but not the smallest either.

S2S reviewers who don't put a single word in the rationale (Stop doing that!)

Did the rules for reviewing change recently?

More of half of my QA checks don't have ANYTHING in the rationale. This includes 5 stars reviews, 3 star reviews, and even 1 star reviews.

If there isn't a single problem with the task and you want to give a 5/5, a rationale would still be appreciated (especially given how much effort we have to put into it) but at least it's not a problem.

You just CAN'T give a 1/5 without justifying it in any way. I don't see anything wrong in my task, and even assuming there is something, you HAVE to tell me (and the project) what it is.

I know there is no point in trying to contact support or whatever. But maybe, just maybe, some of the reviewers doing this will read this post and realize how bad it is? It would be a good start.

Bio qual for bilinguals

Hello there,

I'm one of those bilingual newbies who hasn't gotten a single paid job.

Finally got a qual that I might go for (bio).

I have a degree in cognitive sciences, so I'm relatively comfortable with the subject, but since I'm not getting any other kind of work I'm a bit apprehensive about passing it.

Do you remember it being hard? I would imagine it's not a quiz but rather some kind of R&R involving biology knowledge.

Like for the general test, I'm allowed to google, I don't have to actually review random bio concepts beforehand like an exam, right?

I understand it's an annoying question to get if you're a regular on this sub, but if you're also hit by the draught maybe you'll understand the apprehension, and I'll be grateful if you could clear my mind a bit.

[Routine help] Getting into skincare, is this everything I need? + peel suggestions + microneedling

Hello,

I'm 30M, I have recently decided to start taking care of my skin more. My main concerns are some acne, acne scars and unevenness in my face, eye bags, and blackspots on my body. I also have stretch marks and loose skin that I would like to address but I'm not sure how much it can be done about them (I heard retinal helps, but only for fresh ones, these are old and white).

Right now I bought:

Geek & Gorgeous - A-Game 20 retinal cream
VILLAGE 11 FACTORY 12% aha for gentle body peeling/scrubbing
ALTRUIST SUNSCREEN SPF50
Cetaphil aloe vera based cleanser
Cerave Moisturising Cream
GHK-CU based cream

I would also like to get a stronger peel for the face and specific spots with more blackspots (particularly the back). I am undecided between the ordinary 30% AHA + 2% BHA and a 20% TCA to dilute (with a jessner tester to be used as the first layer on a later application). I know TCA is a lot stronger, and would come out significantly more expensive (90 dollars from the US including customs vs 10 euros on amazon) but I feel like since I already have a 12% AHA if I spend more money it should be for a proper step up, plus Platinum skin care is currently having a 25% discount which is giving me FOMO. If I did go for the TCA, I would get comfortable with the 12% AHA first.

Regardless of the peel, I will most likely buy The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 as a moisturiser to use after stronger peels or when I feel irritated from the actives.

I also was thinking of buying The Ordinary retinol 1% in squalane to use on the body instead of the A-Game as it is a lot cheaper, and use the A-Game for my face only. I don't really have a sense of how long 30ml will last if I used it on both face and body.

I think a Vitamin C cream could also be useful to stimulate collagen production, especially paired with the GHK-CU?

Aside from the peels suggestions, is there any type of product or ingredient that I am missing and you think would be especially beneficial for me? I am reading about a lot of things from Ceramides to all different kinds of acids so it's hard to keep track and make sure I tick all the boxes.

I also wanted to know about your experience home microneedling for stretch marks. I've seen Dr. Pen options as cheap as 50 euros, or the Derminator 2 for around 200 plus a lot more accessories (and the stores about the crazy CEO). Is either of these options worth it and able to be safe for self use at a depth that would actually help with the marks (1.5-2mm)?

Lastly, as a sanity check, what it would look like would be something like:

Every morning:
Cleanser + moisturising (+ sunscreen when going outside)
Every evening:
Cleanser + GHK-CU

Once every 2/3 days max:

Retinal OR 12% AHA alternated

Twice a week max for 30% AHA, once a month max for a 15% (diluted from 20%) TCA.

Does this look right to you?

Thank you for the suggestions in advance

Starting now vs. at lower bf% and subQ injections

Hello,

30M, been losing weight (before naturally, lately with GLP help) and I just weighted myself at 68kg (173cm) after my last woosh. I do still have quite a bit of fat around my belly, probably around 20% bf or so. I would guess higher looking at myself (I have no dexa nearby), but I am also 68kg so I can't have more than 15-20kg of fat left on me.

I already have my test at home and planning to start with 200mg weekly and scale up to 500 later on if needed, then go back to trt doses after one cycle and decide if to PCT or keep injecting. My current nat test is 450.

My original plan was to start the 200mg once below 70kg and up the dose at 10% bf or lower. Now that I am at 68 though I still have quite a bit of fat and I'm worried about aromatisation and sides.

Should I start my TRT dosage now, or wait to lose more weight?

I would also like to ask about SubQ injections since I'm here. I've been doing GLPs in my belly with no problems but I'm a bit scared of doing IM to myself. I've read that the only problems with SubQ test are slower absorption and the possibility of lumps, and that you should inject 0.5ml max (not a problem at 200mg weekly). PIP is possible but goes away much quicker. These seem like acceptable tradeoffs to not have to literally put a needle in my muscles. Am I missing any other reason why i should choose IM over SubQ?
