Can Meleek Thomas be the Landry Shamet guard?

When I watched Meleek Thomas, he reminds me a bit of Landry Shamet. Landry was a vital part of the Knicks run. While Merrill is a great shooter, his size and lack of explosiveness kills any consistency and defense he could offer in the playoffs. I think Meleek could do it though with proper development.

Is there a source on if the Harden Garland trade was orchestrated mainly by Rich Paul? Or do people just say that Rich Paul wanted that trade to happen because he pushed for Garland to be out of Cleveland in the past?

With the whole Lebron saga done, some people still think that Rich Paul was a double agent or contradicted himself with the reasons why Lebron didn’t want to stay. IMO, the reasons why Lebron did not sign with us made perfect sense and I still think we can contend if this front office locks in.

The WNBA media is INSANITY. They are comparing Caitlyn Clarks flopping to a white woman accusing a black child of **** and getting him killed. Apparently its "dangerous" for people of color that shes flopping. WTF are we doing

you cant make this shit up

Curious, but since three of our big 4 are Adidas guys, do shoe brand deals play a part in how our roster could look the near future?

I’m just asking because it seems like Adidas was posting more of the Cavs the moment Harden got traded there.

The Cavaliers will meet with Jonathan Kuminga about working towards finalizing a potential sign-and-trade agreement soon, per @ChrisFedor. Cleveland is a main finalist for Kuminga’s services alongside the Lakers. Kuminga continues to seek a deal exceeding $20 million annually.

Anything above 20 million is a Deandre Hunter mistake.

Is Joe Varden a credible source?

I am just asking because this came out recently:

REPORT: Jonathan Kuminga is interested in playing for the Cavs and reuniting with Kenny Atkinson, per @joevardon
"Jonathan likes the Cavs, likes Kenny Atkinson, and Donovan Mitchell likes him."

At least we will not have to deal with Lebron bandwagon fans again.

There are a lot of people who became fans of the Cavs because of Lebron when he played on the Cavs and stayed Cavs fans. However, I am glad that the fans of the player Lebron James aren’t here to degrade our team whenever we do something minor that makes Lebron look bad somehow and keep scapegoating our team whenever we lose.

Edit: Like LosPollosTV.

After what has transpired today, I have retired from defending LeBron. He doesn’t deserve to be coddled like some baby. He will never be better than MJ no matter how many teams he hops to equal his ring count or Kobe/Duncan’s ring count.

Not a Lebron GOAT believer, but it’s crazy how some people will use player statements and then omit others for agendas.

So if we don’t get Lebron, is Kuminga basically confirmed to be a Cav atp?

I’d be pretty happy with either outcome, worst case scenario should be that we finally get a young 24 yo 3/4 who can defend.

Did Meleek Thomas actually fall to us?

I know this is a borderline conspiracy take, but we have seen guys like Reaves purposefully make their draft stock fall to play with a specific team.

Could it be a similar situation since Meleek wanted to be one and done.

His draft stock wasn’t lottery money/being a second round picks and allowed to negotiate for more guaranteed years and similar guaranteed money overall compared to some late first round picks (22nd pick Philon is only guaranteed 2 year, and 7.3 million vs Meleek is guaranteed 3 years, and 6.3 million) without the player having to worry about team options.

In addition, he’s from Pittsburgh, and Cleveland is the closest NBA city to home/his family for him.

I know it’s just speculation, but it does make sense.
