How does he keep doing this?

3 Seasons. 3 fucking seasons. And this man stole the show in every single finale of those 3 seasons.

He literally redeemed himself for all the shit he pulled during S3 with those final minutes. He's just the best character in this series, and honestly one of my top 10 for any series I've watched.

Harrison Ford is a fucking legend, and I cannot believe this is the first piece of media I'm watching him in. I'm clueless asf.

One of the things I liked about this season.

Jimmy's dad's writing was so good. It really made me realise why Jimmy is just the total opposite of him in the show, and why he sees Paul as a father figure. His dad's a selfish man, and a good one at that. Charming, has other people like him, but only his actual family know how he is.

He seems to want to be there for Alice not because he wants to spend time with his granddaughter, but to make him feel good about himself and to get a story basically to tell to people. I felt like one of the main reasons Jimmy was angry at him, is the fact that when he was at his lowest, his dad still didn't care to meet him or you know, chip in to take care of Alice.

I think that's why he dislikes him so much. He knows that his dad's only there for the best version, and will leave and ignore as soon as they will need help.

Why does my college have compulsory NSS?

I still don't understand. I thought this was optional. And it's not like we got options, we only got NSS. We have exams of it, without any books or anything.

I study in NL Dalmia Mira Road btw.

Started S3, and...

Sean's plotline is not going that great.

When Marisol got introduced, I thought oh, she ended it abruptly, maybe something happened. Then I find out she cheated on him. Hey, it's his ex, so I felt good for him. He had to confront her and take accountability. Their first interaction left me thinking that she's a red flag through and through.

What I did NOT understand was Gaby disregarding everything and saying that Sean actually wanted that even though throughout their session we see that Sean is uncomfortable when Gaby says that. She ignores the fact that Sean wants accountability, and keeps talking about "smooches", which in itself is weird, but eh, sometimes Gaby can miss the ball.

Then his ex says that he's "living in the past" and refuses to take accountability for her cheating, so that was not good.

And now on Episode 4, when Sean is actually talking to Paul, I did NOT expect Paul to be that dismissive about this situation. He actually told Paul about the fact that what if Marisol doesn't accept the new him? And Paul says he created a future imaginary problem. Like zamn, they're doing Sean dirty by basically ignoring his concerns and valid questions.

Are the writers just doing it because for some reason they wanna try and show Marisol as good, even when she's proven otherwise in the first interaction itself and with how Sean talks about her to Gaby and Paul?

This plotline got resolved too quickly.

Making this post again because I re-watched Season 2 Episode 8 right now again, and I saw that Derek didn't blame himself nor was anyone placing the blame on him, it was just a log of causes why it happened.

I still think this plotline got resolved too quickly. I dunno man, it wasn't the fact that she kissed him. It was the fact that despite him saying that he doesn't like the guy, despite him clearly being annoyed by him, despite Paul and Ray telling Liz that he'll make that move, she still did it. She still went and met him. I mean, if there's nothing to worry about, why not tell Derek?

That kiss was just to seal the deal. She regretted it, yeah, everyone who cheats fucking does. That's called guilt. She tells him, and for some reason acts like she did a good thing by telling it to him? Like you had the conscious choice of not doing that. You could've stopped seeing that guy any moment. Yet you chose to.

And then even if Derek doesn't blame himself, I still don't know. Why did she choose Mac out of all people? The one person your husband doesn't like.

It just was resolved too quickly imo. But other than that, the episode was a banger.

Moment so good it brought me to tears, and I wasn't even there😭

Derek is just such a great character man. I'm on season 2, and this episode specifically shows how much better he is emotionally at handling his emotions compared to everyone else.

Reminds me of Ted Lasso. And now even I want a Derek 😭

I dunno why, but the first game's and Miles Morales's world feels more alive than the second one's.

Basically the title. I was replaying Spider-Man 2 recently, and I felt like there were a lot less... Community missions? Like in the first game and especially in Miles Morales, it didn't feel like Spider-Man was the only one working to change the city. Missions like that bird watcher, that wife who suspected her husband of doing something bad, and then in Miles Morales, we had that cat finding mission and the one where he helps FEAST. And then you had missions here and there in which you just helped the citizens and the community.

Spider-Man 2 does have its moments, but I felt like it was more of a grand spectacle than something created with love. The first game and Miles Morales's worlds felt like yk, Spider-Man has been there forever, but in the second one, it didn't really feel like that much. I mean, they couldn't add one mission in which Spider-Man checks up on FEAST in the second game? Really?

But eh, that's just my perspective.

FFX is... A journey.

I guess that's what was missing from FFXVI. A journey. In that game, it was a constant war. No bs, all seriousness, and the moments of peace were really placed not so well. Like I need to go and save the kingdom. Why tf am I fetching wood as a main questline😭 and another thing is, I felt like the characters in it mostly other than Clive were underdeveloped.

I'm 20 hours into this game... And man, I absolutely love the cast. One of my favourite games, P3R, imo had the best characters individually atleast, and in this game, I like that the cast is realistic like that. They all have their individual arcs, and the game isn't centred around just Tidus and his relationships with them. They all are essentially the "main characters" of their own story in this game. The environment is so good too. My only gripe is the fact that I saw the PS2 model for Tidus and this model looks like it's trying to looksmaxx half the time😭 and the fixed camera angle. The environment is so beautiful, but it would be so much better if I wasn't stopped by the damn fixed camera all the time.

The combat system took some getting used to (playing a turn based game after a long time) but it's great when you get Scan and can find out how much hp an enemy has. But the main thing is the story and the locations. And the music.

I absolutely LOVE Besaid man. Such a beautiful location. My favourite by far still.

Now let's see how much more this game can offer.

The new year party arc was one of the worst fr.

These ladies before this arc btw did kitty party, LITERALLY went to Ahemdabad and stayed there abruptly, went to swimming classes, and ofcourse always go shopping. But the one night that Purush mandali decides to just chill and enjoy their lives, they couldn't handle it.

Sundar is just infuriating asf man, and this arc made me want to slap him. Alcohol is prohibited in my religion, but we don't publicly shame people for just enjoying a night out with their friends, even if it involves alcohol.

Not a bad arc, but again, hypocritical. Many arcs like this were funny when I was a kid, but now when I've grown up, I just realise so much more.

Navas was a brick wall.

I started watching football in 2016. One of the matches I remember watching was the El Clasico, and the match was great. What stood out to me though, was when Navas literally saved a goal with his fingertips literally, saving a goal by Messi. Then RMA vs Sevilla, pure domination by Navas on goal. Honestly man, I think he was one of the best GKs of that era.

What Madrid and PSG did with him was nothing short of disrespectful imo. And I don't think he ever really got the spotlight in most matches during that era of domination by Madrid. Like genuinely, you would hear about Buffon, David De Gea, Ter Stegen, Oblak, but never much about Navas.

And the worst thing is, he just took it like a champ and just kept on proving why he's one of the best from that era if not THE best, to a crowd that would never talk about him just because of what country he hailed from. "GK from Costa Rica dominates Europe" wouldn't look good in headlines after all would it? I imagine if he was from any of the big nations, headlines wouldn't stop talking about him as one of the greats, winning 3 UCL back to back as first choice gk for one of the greatest RMA teams of all time.

Thank you, Navas, for all you've done for football. Even as a Barca fan, I have nothing but respect for this guy.

One of the things that would've made this game so much better was rain imo.

Rain in fantasy games just hit different man. If this game and many other games used a dynamic weather system or even gave us an option to switch between weathers, it would've been soo good. Would make exploration that much more fun. Something akin to FFXV. That game did rain so good honestly, atleast from the gameplay I watched of it.

The most beautiful ost imo in the entire game.

Felt like I was exploring a fantasy world again. Took me back to when I was a kid playing Fable on my cousin's xbox for the first time. The wonder for the environment this ost created made Rising Tides DLC that much more worth it.

I'm not ready to play the final mission yet man🥲

This game... I remember playing the demo and making it to the hideout the first time, and not touching the game afterwards for well over two weeks.

And then I decided to give it another try, and here we are. I absolutely love this game. My first Final Fantasy game, and if story wise, the other games are even a bit like this, with characters so likeable, I'm playing through each one. This game's special man. I never got the hate, and I don't think I'll ever get the hate for it. Even with some of its flaws, I absolutely love it.

10/10.

How good is Leviathan's eikon?

My current rotation is Shiva, Bahamut and Odin. I'm thinking of buying the Rising Tides DLC because of story, but how good is Leviathan compared to other eikons?
