I don't know if this is a thing for you too, it's mostly a Brazilian thing

When I see some YouTube story or drama videos, I always see people commenting "plot: ——" and I get confused because I assume they're talking about a story when it's actually talking about a plot TWIST

It's just an unnecessary way to simplify a well known term that's not even hard to type, and it just makes the whole term lose meaning. If "plot" becomes the new "plot twist", then what will be the new word for "plot"?

Just say "twist" or "reviravolta"!
