I’m about to turn 23, freshly graduated, and somewhere in this quiet in-between phase of life where everything feels a bit paused. Most days I keep to myself movies, series, silence and I’ve realized it’s been a while since I’ve had a conversation that actually lingers in my mind after it ends.

There’s something about talking to someone new someone unknown, unfiltered, just passing through your life for a moment that feels strangely refreshing right now.

Incendies is AMAZING

Denis just blew my mind with this one. Incredible, disturbing, absolutely mind bending and I already know this unsettling feeling is going to stay with me for weeks. That’s the thing about Denis’ films; they linger, they crawl under your skin, and that’s exactly why he’s the GOAT.

I know I’ll never be able to watch Incendies again, but I’ll recommend it to everyone because a movie like that should never be slept on.
