A ghostly encounter we experienced at the hotel we stayed in Tagaytay.

Hi! I wanna share this with y’all. This happened in December 2021. Me, my mom, and my best friend booked a hotel in Tagaytay.

When we first went inside, it felt really eerie. As a girl who can usually sense if there’s something in the room that we can’t see, I felt it immediately. Even the hallways and the elevator felt off — the elevator door opened on the 6th floor even though no one was there.

In our room, the sliding door to the shower closed on its own. It happened twice. At first I didn’t want to start ranting to my mom and friend about it, but they felt it too.

When we went to the rooftop, it was very eerie. It felt like someone was whispering in our ears. We felt everything. Then my friend reached out to me, saying that some of her colleagues had stayed there the month after we went, and someone had taken their life on the rooftop.

We also saw ate janitress on the rooftop and asked her if there was really something in this place. She said that just that same week, someone had taken their life on the rooftop, which was what my friend had said. Actually, there were two — one the week before, and then the other followed. She also showed us the candles on the other side of the rooftop where it happened.

Tbh, when I felt it, it felt heavy rather than like dark spirits. So we sent prayers on the rooftop after.

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy

Hi, I just watched this film and I’m kinda disappointed. When I first saw the trailer, my expectations got really high because I thought it would be as good as the trailer. But after watching the whole thing, I’m pretty disappointed.

I didn’t like the camera work and the pacing of the film. If I were to compare it to Pet Sematary since they have similar plots, I’d choose Pet Sematary — it had better scares, imo.
The acting was also kinda rough, no hate though. I know the guy from here was also in Midsommar, he seems familiar lmao. This is just my opinion.

How about y’all? What are your thoughts on this film? I’d love to hear them, whether you hated or loved it.

the best documentary yt channel!

Hii! Is it just me, pero I really love this channel so much? The editing, the way the stories are told, the pacing, and the details of the documentaries — it’s on another level! I’m always rooting for this channel to upload more because they only have a few videos. So when they posted their recent video a year ago, I immediately watched it.

How about you guys? Do you know this YT channel? If you don’t, you should try watching TrageDiaries!

The Prisoner by B.A. Paris

Hii! This is the first B.A. Paris book I’ve read — my brother gifted it to me, lmao. I’d give it 3⭐️ mainly because I already predicted the plot from miles away, but I still enjoyed reading it. Feel free to share your thoughts on the book, and recommend your favorite B.A. Paris novel that I should check out next.

My thoughts about The Chain by Adrian McKINTY

Hi! I wanted to review this novel because I have a love-hate relationship with it.
First, I absolutely liked how unique the story is, imo. But then the book got worse with every page I turned. It became so predictable that I didn’t expect it to be this bad. (again, in my opinion: ) )

I had high expectations for it, but it seems like many others were disappointed too.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! Whether you loved it or hated it.

The Tenant by Freida

Am I the only one who hated this book? I mean, yes, I did finish it in one sitting because I didn’t have a choice, but there was only a tiny part of the story that I appreciated. Overall, it was predictable and poorly written, in my opinion.

I understand that her books are fast-paced and easy to read, but this one was sloppily written. I expected so much from it, and it turned into a disappointment, imo.

Question about SSS Pension

Hello po! Just wanted to ask a question. My aunt received a larger amount than we expected, even after we computed it. This is also her first time receiving her pension — last month to be exact. She thinks it might be because she hasn’t used any of her SSS pension privileges yet. Hindi din po siya nag loan and my aunt also did not choose lump sum.

We also emailed them, but they only gave us the amount they sent, with no further explanation. Do you think they’ll give the same amount this week?

What do u call this kind of encounter? (if there’s any)

Hi, I just wanted to share what I encountered. This was back in 2019. My lola and I were in her room around 8 PM. She wanted to go to the CR, so I helped her, but we couldn’t open the door. My uncle had to break it. Even the key in the door didn’t help at all.

The door was completely broken—you could see right through it, but it still wouldn’t open. Then my aunt said, “Little boy, please stop playing with the door,” and it opened out of nowhere.

That’s also when I found out the “little boy” my family was talking about was my baby brother who was miscarried at my lola’s home.

Brother by Ania Ahlborn

Hii! I just finished reading Brother by Ania Ahlborn, and I liked it! I kept seeing it all over my social media as everyone’s top 1 thriller, and of course I wanted to give it a try. This is my first time reading a novel like this, and wow — it completely captivated me. The meaning of the title and what it truly represents really stuck with me. IMO it’s brutal because of how he lives his life in pure torture. 💔 I gave this one a 5⭐️

I’d love to hear your thoughts about this book too!
