This show reminds me of the sitcom called ghosts a lot and I love it. It's like an animation version of it, and everyone can see the ghosts and the ghost are a lot more violent. Does it have certain aspects of it? And I'm talking about the US and UK version. Does anyone else make the similarities?
Hello, I've been using gamersupps for a long time now and unfortunately all of my lids are cracked. Probably from a mix of washing them in the dishwasher and slamming them closed (I'm not the only one who uses them). Anyway, does anyone know where I can buy just the lids? All 10 of my cups are in perfect condition however most of my lids are mia and the last three I have are all cracked. I've tried Facebook marketplace and I don't trust eBay. Anywhere you guys can point me would be very appreciated.
It's my second year doing inventory, so I'm pretty used to overnights. I technically do a lot of what you guys do during inventory anyway—labeling, taking stuff off the shelves, and organizing the overheads—so it doesn't really phase me. It does seem like it's different every year depending on which manager is running it, though.
Last year, we had a team of 7 and ended up doing three weeks: two weeks overnight and one week during the day. Three of us who were working overnights also stayed to work on retagging the aisles and fluffing the bays. I wonder how it'll be this year. So far, we're scheduled for two weeks of inventory, and one manager is saying we're working until close during the third week while another is saying we're not. Great to see they're already not on the same page 🤷🏻♀️.
Oh well! It does kinda suck that only me and one other girl have done inventory before, so we'll probably be stuck helping everyone else out. But hey, other people have helped us out before, so I can't complain too much!
I've been using Atlas for a while now, and overall I've had a pretty good experience with it. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was Smart Save, so I turned that off. Other than that, it's been smooth, and it's helped me raise my credit score by 50+ points.
I've never had my direct deposit go to Atlas before, but I'm honestly considering it. I can transfer money back to my regular bank with my debit card, so that part doesn't really worry me. I'm just wondering if anyone here has actually done it. Does your entire paycheck have to go there, or can you split your direct deposit? My job lets me split my paycheck between multiple accounts, so I'm curious if that works with Atlas.
I've got until Sunday to decide, so I'd love to hear your experiences—the good, the bad, or anything I should know. And yes, changing my direct deposit through work is super easy... probably one of the few perks of my job. 😂
I don't know if I want kids, the "female instincts" especially during my time of the month makes me want them so bad and I get so depressed every time I see a negative pregnancy test but the other half of the time im like "uh ew no"😂. I can't be the only one? My two biggest issues is my temper and I don't want to be alone but I hate that 7-9 days a month all I can think of is having a baby ;-;.
Hello! I normally work OFA, Freight, and the Service Desk, but I picked up a Garden closing shift for tomorrow. Thankfully it's a Sunday, so there should only be about five hours with customers, but I know that also means there are usually more closing tasks to get done.
Does Garden have a closing checklist of things that need to be completed every night? I've heard people mention it from time to time, but I'm not sure if it's something that's done every shift. I know the basics, like making sure there aren't any customers left in the department after 8:00 p.m. and helping anyone who needs assistance before then.
I don't know everything about Garden, but I know enough to get by, and I did complete the Pocket Guides. 💅🏻 Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
I've been with my boyfriend for two and a half years, and I've had a difficult relationship with his family, especially his mother. For privacy, I'll call her Karen.
From the beginning, I've often felt like she viewed me negatively. Early in our relationship, I was unemployed for about four months, but I found a job and started contributing my share of the bills as soon as I could. During that time, my boyfriend would sometimes vent to his mom, and years later she still makes comments such as, "Remember when my son had to pay for everything?" What frustrates me is that for the past five or six months, I've been covering most of our expenses, but that never seems to be acknowledged.
Another situation that stuck with me happened when I was extremely sick one day. I was at home vomiting and in a lot of pain, so I asked my boyfriend to call me while he was driving home with medicine. His mom called him six times during that drive. When he told her I wasn't feeling well, her response was essentially, "Well, my tooth was hurting." When he suggested she check on me, she replied, "She'll be fine." It felt dismissive and made me feel like my well-being didn't matter.
More recently, we were visiting her and casually talking. I mentioned that I switched from birth control pills to the patch because I wasn't always great at taking the pills on a strict schedule. In the same conversation, I shared that I'd raised my credit score by more than 100 points, received a $3 raise, and was now working over 40 hours a week. None of the positive news was acknowledged. Instead, she later texted my boyfriend telling him to "make sure she takes her pills" because I had said I was bad at remembering them. It hurt that the only thing she chose to focus on was something negative.
I've also felt excluded from family activities. When one of my boyfriend's stepbrothers got a girlfriend, she quickly became the person Karen turned to for baking and cooking requests. In the family group chat, Karen would regularly ask her for help while largely ignoring me. It's hard not to take that personally when it happens repeatedly.
The most frustrating part is that whenever I try to address these issues directly, Karen apologizes but then goes right back to the same behavior. If I ask my boyfriend to bring it up, I'm often told that I'm overreacting. At this point, I get anxious whenever we're about to visit her. Just driving down her street makes my stomach knot up.
The latest incident happened when I was heading to work. Karen confronted me about an insurance notice that claimed our car insurance hadn't been paid. She and another family member spent about ten minutes criticizing me over it. When my boyfriend called and explained that the policy in question wasn't even ours, there was no apology. Since then, she's left me on read.
I don't expect us to be best friends, but after two and a half years, it's difficult feeling like I'm constantly judged for my mistakes while my accomplishments and efforts are overlooked.
I'm so sick and tired of this company giving fulltime positions and basically every position I've gone for externally now. This is the fifth time I trained, interviewed, and went above and beyond to show I wanted to work for a department just for them to tell me, "yeah sorry we're going to give the fulltime position to someone else and give the part time position to someone whos getting hired soon but HEYYYY you can try in I say 4-8 weeks." I'm so burnt out with overnight I want to get out of it but it seems like I'm stuck overnight and stuck as a f*g part timer and being underpaid and overworked.

This month we’ve had two separate inspections. Yes, they gave notice both times, but it’s still frustrating, especially since I’ve lived here since October and they’ve never done this before. However they've shut off the water MULTIPLE TIMES to the point where it was every other day. I made a joke saying, "well it's because nobody really wants maintenance walking through their apartment", and it feels like management is basically saying, “Well, we’re going to see inside one way or another.”
I also work night shifts, which makes this even harder. During the last inspection, I stayed awake all day because there’s no way I’m comfortable letting people walk through my apartment while I’m asleep. They came for the installation, and I waited until 4 p.m. for them to tell me, “What inspection?” Even though when my partner and I called the front desk around 11 a.m., they told us there would be an inspection right after the installation.
So I ended up waiting around from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. completely exhausted for nothing. I work again tonight, and this time I really don’t have the option to stay awake all day. Of course, they’re also checking the bathrooms, and since we have one connected to our bedroom, they’d need to come into the room too.
I don’t know, the whole situation just feels invasive and really inconsiderate, especially for people who work overnight shifts. Is anyone else dealing with this? My lease still has months left on it.
Cashli kind of sucks but the cheap membership makes it "slightly worth it." It takes around a week to get another advance, then it's due your next payday. I've attempted to extend it just because how late you get it, but nope. They'll extend it to maybe two days at most. I've never gone over $35. So honestly if you're needing a bigger cash advance that's reliable and automatic pull, stay away from this dame app.

Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me make French toast but I have no milk or heavy cream. I have vegetable oil, lemon juice, eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon sugar, and well I do have condensed milk in a can. Also how do you make it not so soggy? I have around 5 pieces of white bread and/or a bunch of small tortillas. I like to be creative and try new things!
