Salary?

What’s everyone’s salary? I don’t think I’m fairly paid.
I am a high school counselor at a private school in Michigan, contracted / working for 11 months (August 1-July 1) with only July off.

Bachelors in Education, Masters in School Counseling
Starting year 6.

My salary is $50,330. Literally not a livable wage with cost of living, gas, etc. & I’m a single woman without kids & I rent. HOW do people do it with kids & a mortgage?

Not to mention my bachelors & degrees costed $150,000 total & repayment starts shortly.

Workplace conditions

\*\*Catholic high school counselor in a basement office with windows I can’t open and no control over AC. Is this normal?\*\*

I’m a counselor at a Catholic high school, and my counseling office is in the basement. The windows are about 8 feet off the ground because we’re below grade.
Last March, someone broke into my office through one of the windows and damaged the window/screen. The screen still hasn’t been replaced, so I can’t safely open that window.

There are three other windows in the main counseling area, but they’re so high that I can’t reach them to open them, even with the window-opening stick we have.
We do have AC, but maintenance recently built a literal lock box over the thermostat, so we no longer have any control over the temperature. We also have two air purifiers, but neither is currently working, and maintenance hasn’t fixed them.
I also have a portable thermometer in the office, and it’s currently reading \*\*85°F\*\*.

\*\*So at this point:\*\*
I can’t control the AC
I can’t open the three high windows
I can’t open my office window because the screen from the break-in still hasn’t been replaced
Both air purifiers aren’t working and haven’t been repaired
The office is currently sitting at \\\~85°F
The space feels extremely stuffy and suffocating.

\*\*\\\*\\\*\\\*\\\*IMPORTANT TO ADD - IM 28 years old and the youngest employee by far. I feel this is work place bullying / age discrimination. They’d never do this to an older employee.\\\*\\\*\\\*\\\*\*\*

Would you consider this a reasonable workplace/environmental concern? Is there anything else I should be requesting from the school, particularly regarding ventilation or indoor air quality in a basement workspace?

Dr. A, Host of She MD

I just listened to an incredible PCOS podcast episode with Dr. A & Dr. Huberman. Dr. A is a PCOS expert, and she said all OB/GYNs should be required to do pelvic ultrasounds on their teen and young 20s patients.
Her point was that if PCOS were identified and addressed much earlier, women could potentially avoid years of symptoms and fertility struggles later on. She even said early intervention could essentially put fertility clinics out of business.

I thought that was such an interesting perspective. What do you all think? For those of you with PCOS, do you wish you had been screened or diagnosed much earlier? Do you think routine pelvic ultrasounds at a younger age would have changed anything for you?

Nexplanon Ruined Body & Brain

I had normal periods and perfect mental health throughout my teens.
Then, I had nexplanon from 21-28. During that time, I gained about 40 lbs & developed horrible facial hair to the point where I had to do laser & electrolysis. I grew a softball size cyst on my right ovary. I had irregular bleeding throughout as well. Mental health was good.

Fast forward to July 2025. I had my nexplanon removed, and my mental health was never the same. I’ve developed severe anxiety, depression, and anger management issues. I’ve lost multiple friends because of my attitude, being blatantly mean, & behaving out of control. I also have 1 day periods every 35 days. I’m not ovulating & My AMH is high. I also lowkey stopped being attracted to my husband.

I firmly believe whatever sh*t is in nexplanon is dangerous, and must be evaluated by professionals who are NOT BACKED BY PHARMA OR OBLIGATED TO ADVOCATE FOR BC. I’ve never been the same since having it removed, and I don’t think I’ll ever be.

Skye Valadez

I’m still curious why Candace won’t go max on other possible suspects. The FBI was actively looking for a he/she named Skye Valadez in the beginning. The same person that wrote a song titled “Charlie Kirk dead at 31” in August 2025. He/she is ex military, trans, living near Purdue University.
He is “band mates” with Omar. The one who tweeted warning everyone about Charlie’s murd*r
What are everyone’s thoughts on this?

Hear me out. The “senior photos” at graduation and in the button down shirt are from 2018. I believe that man got a nose job & that’s who we’re looking
At now. He is ex military in CIA OR FBI.

Jillian Jaeger Disgusting Behavior

Really sick of people with platforms using it to further normalize eating disorders and anorexia. Jillian jaeger clearly has a body image , eating problem.

She recently came onto TT to say 2020 was her “peak” healthiest time after she gained weight in college. Excuse me?

She literally uses her platform now to post that she has 2 coffees before a hot pilates class and skips meals. Nothing normal or healthy about that at all. It’s disgusting human behavior.

Her & her sisters pretend to be feminists during the election. Women supporting women!!!! & then literally use their platforms to HARM women by not supporting healthy eating habits, glorifying bone skinny anorexia, etc. Etc.
Thoughts??????
