Here’s a list I’ve compiled of how you should and shouldn’t behave in the movie theatre:

• Don‘t sing during Caine’s song. We’re there to watch tadc. Not to listen to someone‘s amateur level singing.
• Don’t talk. You can discuss the movie with other people AFTER it ends. Once again, most people would like to watch it in peace. If you want to talk during it, you can wait for two weeks and watch the last episode at home. Also don’t yell stuff, you’re not at home, you’re in a movie theatre
• Don’t wear very large cosplays. This one I’ll excuse IF you’re sitting in the last row, but otherwise you’ll just be distracting everyone. Obviously a cosplay where you‘re just wearing clothes, makeup, a wig, etc etc is fine.
• Please shower and wear deodorant before going. Just to make the experience nicer for everyone. The theatres will likely be very full and no one will appreciate if you come there smelling like you haven’t showered in a week. And before anyone gets offended: this is my advice for literally anyone going to see any movie ever. This isn’t personally targeted at you.
• Don’t recreate chicken jockey. This one’s self explanatory.

TL;DR: Act like decent human beings. Don’t speak too loudly or yell. Don‘t act obnoxiously and be considerate of other people.

also usually in the theatre near us there will be like zero seats taken up until the day before, but this time there were like 15 seats reserved a MONTH before the movie.
