Shopify's new bot protection is insane

Bros these recent drops are basically impossible unless you have a crazy setup. I ran 150 tasks this morning and caught instant 403s on almost all of them before queue even popped.

Ended up pausing everything and just routing through shifter to force some resis on the problem. Finally got a few tasks past the splash page but the site literally died during checkout anyway.

The sheer amount of data i burn just trying to get a single pair of dunks is depressing tbh. Anyone actually cop today or did we all just take massive Ls?

customer told me straight up why he went with someone else it wasnt price

ran into an old prospect at a coffee shop last week. nice guy, wed talked a few times, i thought we were close to closing. never happened, i assumed he went with a cheaper option or just lost interest. he told me the truth because there was no reason not to said he called us on a friday afternoon, got voicemail, tried again monday, voicemail again. called the next guy on the list and that guy picked up.

we werent more expensive or worse, we just werent there when he needed us. that one sat with me tbh, ive been telling myself we were losing on price for months

looked at the phone situation after that, were doing textedly to run the voice + mass sms side for us on top of the regular things. calls get answered, follow-up goes out, and hopefully i'm not the guy losing deals at a coffee shop anymore.

but i still think about that conversation though

Most brand activations still feel like expensive pop-ups that disappear the next day

been to way too many of these where the brand spends a fortune on a fancy setup and people just show up, take the same three photos, grab the free drink and leave. zero lasting impression.

the ones that actually work treat the whole thing like a real experience instead of a temporary photo booth. saw some of the work BRC web has done with brand homes and live spaces and it’s on a different level. they build places people want to stay in and actually remember later.

most campaigns still want to get the quick social hit and pretty much that's it. the few that invest in proper environment and storytelling end up with people talking about it months afterward. that gap is getting more obvious every year, so why is that? surely it's not just budgetary limits

anyone got a dialer that actually works clean?

our sales team lives in salesforce all day but still has to jump out and dial numbers manually. half the time the call notes never make it back into the record and managers keep complaining about missing activity logs. it’s slowing everything down.

looking at auto dialer software that can pull the next lead straight from salesforce and log the call automatically when it ends. has anyone set something like this up without a ton of custom work? did the activity history stay accurate or did you still have to clean it up later??

What should an AMR fleet manager prove before connecting to MES/WMS?

We’re evaluating AMR fleet managers, and most suppliers are quick to demonstrate API connectivity. But being able to exchange commands is not the same as being ready for production integration.
Before connecting the fleet to MES or WMS, I’d expect it to prove that it can manage priorities, traffic and charging reliably on its own—and recover cleanly from blocked routes, offline robots, cancelled orders, duplicate requests and network interruptions.
Task status also needs to remain consistent across systems. A transport order should not appear completed in MES while it is still queued, failed or waiting for manual intervention in the fleet manager.
What would you include in the acceptance test before allowing an AMR fleet manager to connect to production systems? Which failure scenarios or integration issues tend to expose the real weaknesses?

Review of Nebula app after a few months

I've been using it since April so sharing feedback in case you've saw them too

It has birth chart readings, daily horoscopes, and compatibility reports. It positions itself as sort of astrology + personal growth app combined. Nebula features I used and liked: personalized birth chart (this was the main reason I downloaded it), daily horoscope, compatibility reports for relationships, and tarot readings to some degree.

The birth chart stuff is detailed - way more in-depth than the free horoscope apps I'd tried before. The app itself looks nice overall and is easy to navigate. Where it's a bit much is the pricing - there's a cheap intro trial and then it jumps up, so make sure you're going to use it regularly before you subscribe.

So, if you're into astrology beyond just "what's my sign," it's worth trying the trial. Though if you just want a quick daily horoscope, it might be more than you need for the price. What's your experience?

Seeking US-Based Women Short-Form Video Creators for Ongoing UGC - Experience Sharing/Opportunity

Hey fellow creators,

I'm part of the team behind Palaura, an AI matchmaker that operates entirely through text – think no apps, no swiping. As we scale our creator partnerships, we're actively looking to collaborate with US-based women creators for ongoing monthly content. We believe in building genuine, long-term relationships rather than one-off projects.

We're particularly interested in short-form video creators (think TikTok and Reels) who are comfortable with face-on-camera, casual UGC style content. We provide direction, but the magic is in making it feel natural and authentic to your voice. We're not overly focused on niche or follower count; authenticity and relatability are what truly matter to us.

Our collaborations typically involve creating ~15-second videos that feel genuine and unscripted. We offer flexibility with content volume, usually 10-30 posts per month, working around your pace. This is an ongoing, month-to-month partnership.

Compensation starts at $30 and can go up to $50 per video, depending on the agreed package. Additionally, we offer performance bonuses for top-performing videos, which can earn up to $300 each.

If this resonates with you or you have any questions, feel free to reply, DM me, or reach out directly at starlio517@gmail.com. We're keen to connect with creators who are passionate about crafting authentic content.

Theres water flooding inside my 2016 Ford Ecosport during rainy season and I dont know where its coming from

I have a 2016 ford ecosport and I bought it second hand. Its not the first time that ive had to deal with this issue. I just cant seem to prevent this from happening, ive already tried applying sealant on the seal of my windshield near the wipers. But i guess that wasnt it since it’s still flooding. I do notice that theres water dripping below the glovebox of the passengers side so i assumed that it came from the windshield. Theres no signs of water entry from the doors or the roof or anything like that. Please help!!!!
