Second bloom of the season, second bloom ever. So cute. Glad its doing well. I can see another bud under the water too! 🤗

I come out every day to see if hes grown.

They've been in here for about a year now. The black one and the black and orange one are new this year.

There's a chance work may relocate me to Montana next year, and the first thing I thought about was my pond.

I'd love to hear from people who actually keep ponds there instead of just Google. I live in Colorado currently.

A few questions:

• Do you need a greenhouse or winter cover?

• Will a smaller pond work?

• Anything you wish you knew before?

Water looking extra clear today. Just planted some blue star creepers along the outer edge. Might be too late in the game to fully enjoy them but we'll see in a month or so.

Been a few days and hes doing fine. Discovered he wants nothing to do with pellets or flakes, and only eats the frozen blood worms. Guess I'll Google other options just in case he loses interest
