Is this a carpet beetle? Found in bedroom, central europe.

Hi! Are these carpet beetles? I attached as many pictures as I had just in case, I did my best to take close up pictures. I usually find them on the outside wall of my closet (it's a mirror) or on the wall next to the closet in my bedroom. I saw these quite often last year but nearly not at all during the winter. Now they've started appearing again, but not as much as last summer. My question is, are these carpet beetles or something else?

I also find these bugs quite often in the pantry (on the shelves and in dry ingredients like cereal) and last year when I had a lot of them, even in the bathroom! To be honest, there are more of them in my pantry than my bedroom, but when they're in my bedroom they always appear near my closet, which has me worried. I only found one larva last year, it was in my 100% acrylic sweater that I left out in the hallway. Since then I haven't noticed any signs of carpet beetles in my closet at all. No larvae, nothing. I vacuum and wash my closet quite often so I can't imagine where they're all hiding and coming from.

If they are indeed carpet beetles, what next steps can I take? Throw all my clothes in the washing machine bit by bit and hope for the best?

Are these carpet beetle eggs? Found on a skirt in my closet

Hi! Last year I had a few clothing moths but managed to get rid of them only to start finding carpet beetles about a month later. I'm not 100% sure they were carpet beetles, but they looked like brown carpet beetles to me and I kept finding them on the wall near my closet. The reason I had doubts as to whether they weren't some other type of bug is that I kept finding them in my kitchen as well(in dried herbs and cereal). But on the other hand I also saw one larva in my sweater.

Anyway, I deep cleaned my closet and I stopped seeing them for a while but these past few months I've seen a few here and there around my closet (adults only). I recently went to grab a skirt and found these eggs on the waistband so I was wondering if anyone with more carpet beetle experience would be able to confirm if they could be carpet beetle eggs? I know it's probably hard to tell with just this picture, sorry 😅 the eggs were quite yellow though, I'm not sure if that matches carpet beetles (or perhaps clothing moths again?)

Thank you in advance, any and all help is appreciated!!

Is Drops Safran itchy/scratchy? How does it compare to Drops loves you 7 (now renamed Drops Magic)? Other soft cotton reccomendations for summer tank top?

Hi! I want to knit a tank top for summer with cotton yarn, the pattern calls for a thin yarn with similar thickness to drops Safran. I was just wondering how soft it is? Does anyone have experience knitting with it? I've only ever knit with animal fibres and found most of the yarns quite scratchy and I don't want this tank top to turn into something I have to wear with a shirt underneath. I can't go to a store and touch it myself so I thought I'd ask here.

I also saw Drops Loves you 7 (Drops Magic) and I was wondering if it's more/less soft than Safran? I am also open to other soft cotton yarn reccomendations, preferably some affordable brands :)

Thank you for all advice in advance!!! ☺️❤️

How do I improve this sweater neckline? :)

Hi! I've been working on a sweater I've been really excited about but I ran into a big issue with the neckline. The sweater was worked in the round until the underarm and then worked flat and the shoulders were then sown together. Then I was supposed to pick up 78 stitches for the neck (the gauge was 11 stitches in 10cm according to the pattern, I met gauge on my blocked swatch and even my sweater has 11 stitches in 10cm in stockinette) but I picked up every stitch around the neck and that ended up being 68 stitches. The neckline is meant to be folded inwards at the end (like in the last picture)

The neckline's shape is due to the fact that the sweater (before I added the neckline) was already shaped like that. (Idk how that ended up happening since I met gauge and I'm very happy with the fit of the sweater other than the neckline) But I feel like the neckline ribbing itself is also an issue. I dislike the way the neckline droops forward towards my chest. I'd like it to hold its form more, it's too floppy.

Could the issue be that my gauge is right in stockinette but it's off in the ribbing?

Is there any way to salvage this? I've made my peace with the fact that I'll probably have to frog the whole ribbing but I'm wondering how to redo it? Do I switch to smaller needles? Do I pick up fewer stitches? Reinforce the neckline with something so that it holds its shape more?

Also, would using a different type of ribbing help make the neck less floppy?

Also, is there any way to make the neck more narrow around the shoulders? Maybe work more rows near the sides than the front? Is that realistic or not really? What techniques would I use for that?

I'm using drops melody yarn btw.

Thank you so much for all your help in advance!!🩷 I'm really grateful for all advice!!! ☺️

Cdrama with a truly strong and powerful female lead?

Hi! I'm looking for a cdrama with a strong and powerful female lead. I mean a female main character that is in some sort of position of power and doesn't lose this power by the end of the drama and doesn't give it up for her love interest. For example an influential member of the royal family or an excellent warrior or a very powerful character in a xianxia drama. I'm not just talking about smart female characters like in the double or the glory (although I love those too).

For example I liked the female lead in Love in the Clouds, she pretended to be a man so that she could be the crown prince of her kingdom while also being an extremely powerful warrior. However, I just wish we had seen more of the character as the crown prince or as the powerful warrior, so I'm wondering if anyone has any reccomendations for dramas with powerful female leads :)

One thing I really don't like in dramas is when the character loses their powers/abilities/position of power by the end of the drama, especially if they give it up for their love interest.

I'm not looking for modern dramas, anything else is okay :)

Thank you so much for all reccomendations in advance! 🩷

Best fitting basic sweater pattern I can customise with colourwork? (Not raglan)

Hii! 🙂 I would like to knit a colourwork sweater based on my own colourwork pattern but I need some sort of base pattern for a sweater that I can just add the colourwork to. My question is, what are some well-fitting basic sweater patterns I can customise this way?

I'm looking for a basic sweater, no lace or cables, just stockinette :) I don't mind it there's already some colourwork on it, my main concern is just the fit. The pattern needs to have neckline shaping, I have quite sensitive skin so I really can't stand high and tight necklines ☹️ I've knit a few sweaters before but those were just some free patterns I found and in some of them the underarm area looked a bit off when I wore it for some reason? Also, I don't love the look of raglan sweaters.

I took a look around raverly but I was wondering if anyone had any recs for truly well fitting sweater patterns :)

Any help is appreciated!! 🩷 Thank you in advance!! 🙂

Finally finished my sweater!!

I started knitting this in December and finally finished it! This is only my third sweater but I love it, the yarn I used was quite thin so it's not as warm as my other sweaters and very light, which I love :)

I finished the sweater, blocked it and then spent two days embroidering the stars on :) I was a bit unsure as to how to weave in the ends of the yarn I used for the stars (it's quite a slippery yarn) so I just tied a little knot when I finished a star, hopefully it doesn't come undone :)

The yarn: Drops Sky colour 23, Anchor Artiste Metallic colour 302
