Any love out there for VJ music tapes?

These tapes represent a spotty but significant coverage of pop music videos from about 1985 to 2002. I’ve spent quite awhile building up this little collection and the stock comes from mostly clubs, bowling alleys, and theater lounges (some even purchased from an old VJ turned record store owner local to me!) and it’s been a primary way I play music in my HiFi system everyday! I can just grab one of these VJ tapes and get hours of top 40 videos with crystal clear VHS HiFi sound from any year or chart week I want! Each tape contains about 8-12 videos for a given snapshot in the top 40 or top dance charts.

I can’t believe it took me so long to realize music videos could be owned on physical media!

Grandma’s boy is a 2006 comedy about a game designer played by Allen covert as he is kicked out of his home by Rob Schneider and then has to stay with his grandma (Doris Roberts) and her two roommates.

I just have to say this right now this is in my top 5 comedy’s of the 2000s the cast is perfect with some of the most entertaining characters of a happy Madison production I had a big grin watching this and I think this movie was really underrated when it came it.

Please do yourself a favour and watch it.
